My name is Zachary Nena, and I'm an 18 year old senior at Batavia High School in Batavia, IL. I will be attending Purdue University this fall to pursue my major in computer science and minor in psychology. I'm passionate about computer science, and I enjoy learning more about Java, JavaScript, Python and HTML programming. I started a Computer Science Club at my high school at the start of my senior year. I also feel very drawn to community service work, especially with suicide awareness and prevention due to losing my 17 year old brother to suicide in 2016. I've also participated in mission trips, volunteered at an animal shelter and done service work for our school district and other organizations within surrounding communities.
