Sports Lover Scholarship
Sports has played a major role in my life. My mom started me playing in soccer at 3 years old. Since then, I have been actively playing sports. I have played baseball, basketball, football, you name it, and I have tried it .Playing sports has helped me stay in shape, and and has taught me how to organize my time, boost friendships, and build relationships with peers and adults. Through athletics, you gain skills that can best be acquired on a court, track, or field. Sports has taught me to lead, to follow, to take responsibility, working with others, sportsmanship, and so much more. Every athlete, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to learn lifelong skills through sports, and every athlete deserves the opportunity to do so. I learned how to cooperate with others, share positive emotions, and work on the negative ones. In addition, people may develop leadership skills through sports, frequently discovering abilities that they never knew about. They learn how to motivate and inspire each other.
In my experience, if students take part in games and sports, they can become good citizens. Games and sports teach many things to the students. It gives them discipline, unity co-operation and spirit of game. Games and sports develop mental outlook, cheerful nature, and strong body. these all are important skills for successful life.
Athletics has taught me to persevere when times get tough, and that success does not build character, failure builds character. High school athletics has also given me the ability to work outside of my social group and build relationships with individuals I otherwise would have never met.
I plan to pursue a degree in sports medicine.
Earning a degree will help increase my knowledge of multiple aspects within the overall field of healthcare. I will receive training on prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis and and treatment, among other things. Not only does a degree healthcare degree advance your education, but it also allows you to pass on your knowledge to clients so that they may apply it to their daily lives to become healthier and happier.
In high school , I played football and basketball and was on the track team. I can't begin to tell you the pains and injuries that I have endured, and this is the reason that I want to acquire a degree in sports medicine. reasons to become an athletic trainer is the unique opportunity to work with athletes of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are an athlete or you just love the game, I want to pursue my passion for sports in a rewarding career such as sports medicine. I want to help athletes stay in top shape so they can continue doing what they love.

There are so many people to admire today in real life and social media. What comes to mind as my biggest role model is my mom. There are a lot of people that will influence you. Whether it is in a bad way or a good way, you can’t stop it. You just have to let it happen. Many people who influenced me to be who I am today. Some have long gone their separate ways, and some have stayed with me through times. But the one person who has influenced me greatly in a positive way and has been with me since I was a baby is my mother inspires and motivates me to grow without any barriers. It seems to me that this woman looks at life as a challenge and wholeheartedly intends to seize the day every day.
My mother looked after me and supported me in every part of my life. Right from childhood, she has been with me like my shadow. A mother teaches her child everything that she knows right from talking, walking to living a fulfilling life. She is also the one who disciplines and educates a child for a better living. Right from getting up to sleeping, a mother teaches all she knows. This is why my mother is my role model. The covid pandemic really had her struggling as we lost everything. She invested everything into a business and could no longer pay on the lease because the entire nation was forced to shut down. The landlord was a very greedy man and took her to court, where we unfortunately got an equally unsympathetic judge who garnished all our savings. That experience of my life so far has truly brought things into perspective. My father abandoned us, and we moved in with my grandma to care for her. The world can be so cruel, but my mother has always taught me that we have to push through it, and through our faith, patience, and hard work, things will get better. Whenever I look at my mother, I see an ordinary person, but when I think about what she does and how she does it, she becomes divine and the reason for my smile! She sets an inspirational example to me teaching me how to live life and make wise choices, even in the most uncertain situations. My mother has taught me that hard times can be overcome and that losing battles can be won. She has taught me more than I could have learned from any book.
I respect her a lot. She is my inspiration, my role model.

I never imagined community service could be such a gratifying experience even in my wildest dreams. My mother was always volunteering her time to the less fortunate growing up. She would often take me and my siblings along to assist her. We all learned at a young age that community service is a part of life. Although, sometimes we may be busy with our own lives, we must always find time to help those who are in need.
While we were living in Michigan I remember helping an organization called Gleanor's food book making backpacks of food, and snacks, for latchky kids. These poor kids often times were left alone while their parent was at work, and many times had to deal with food insecurities. This broke my heart. It got me to thinking, how how unfair life could be. Why do people have to go hungry in the greatest country in the world? This is very sad and upsetting. I felt it was my duty to always volunteer and help causes such as food banks and get the help they need from us, the public. Helping others in need will always be in my nature as even though we struggled at times, helping people in our community was such a heart warming and fulfilling experience to me.
I even had a positive influence on my classmates and friends. Their were days when my friends and I had plans, but I had to cancel on them because I was volunteering at the food bank. They asked me about it, and we're interested in doing it themselves. I'd like to say influenced them. Small steps can lead to big change. Hopefully, some day our government will finally get it together and no one will have to suffer hunger or financial difficulties. I hope to continue to be a help to my community as I plan to further my education in the health field. Medical insurance is a huge expense to many people . I hope someday to take care of people and they do not need ever need to worry about the cost of getting treated. The most powerful way that I can inspire others is to lead by example. My mom was the one inspired me to become the man I am today, and I hope to continue to inspire others get involved in their community and be a blessing and postive change to others.

I am planning to work during my undergraduate degree, but I do wish to focus a lot of my time on my studies. This scholarship will help by lowering the costs of college and the number of hours I'll need to work throughout my studies. This way, I'll be able to continue with my academic achievements.
I hope to achieve a degree in sports medicine. Being a Palestinian, Muslim, American, I have always been looked at as the odd one. It's unfortunate how many of my friends never heard of Palestine nor knew anything about the islamic religion. They way they talked to me before getting to know was rude and a bit prejudiced. It really broke me for a while, getting situated into a new high school in California. I moved to California from Michigan my freshman year, and it was quite an interesting and a nerve wrecking experience. I made my high school basketball and football team, and it took me a while to form a brotherly bond with my fellow teammates. Through my many sports injuries I knew I wanted to learn how to heal injuries, so that I can play to my fullest without any pain. My teammates realized that I was just the same as them. Just because I was a Palestinian and Muslim didn't make me any different. We both went through the same struggles and pains.
I hope to provide distinctive care for the athletes. A sports medicine physician knows about the injuries related to sports. They have a clear insight about how an athlete's body can react to certain injuries. They put invaluable efforts off the field in making an athlete ready for the next game.
I don't just want to heal athletes. I also plan to teach and inspire athletes and young people to
be more sympathetic and accepting to their fellow teammates and classmates. I am hoping to make a positive change in these young athletes. I plan to teach them to make a difference, to make a situation better because of their good actions: One person can make a small difference and this can have a ripple effect and can make a difference, and hopefully our world will be a more sympathetic and peaceful world filled with love and peace, and joy rather than with so much hare and preduudice that many of us have to endure. This is just a small difference that can make.
Kiaan Patel Scholarship
The idea of making a positive impact in the world can be daunting and a bit unrealistic with all the violence and injustice that we see occurring in our society right now. It's not only easy but understandable
to think, "I'm only one person; what can I really do?" If every person thinks that, nothing will ever
get done or accomplished. But if every person did just one
thing to make the world a better place today, billions of acts of kindness, social responsibility, and generosity would take place
and wouldn't that alone change or world for the better.
I myself want to pursue a career in sports medicine. Sports medicine I hope to specialize in and provide athletes and all people with specific guidance regarding posture, performance, nutrition, and overall health. Sports doctors and physical therapists help people learn about how to engage your muscles without injuring them. I know through this career Communities that participate in sport and recreation develop strong social bonds, are safer places and the people who live in them are generally healthier and happier than places where physical activity isn't a priority. Sport and recreation build stronger, healthier, happier, and safer communities. The future contains a trend toward prevention through genetics, nutrigenomics, and numerous monitors and wearables in sports medicine. I hope through my career in sports medicine to make a positive impact in our world. I hope to get people up and moving and encourage people to exercise the right way.Poor technique and structural abnormalities can also contribute to the development of chronic injuries. Medical investigation of any sports injury is important, because you may be hurt more severely than you think. For example, what seems like an ankle sprain may actually be a bone fracture.Poor technique and structural abnormalities can also contribute to the development of chronic injuries. There's plenty of evidence that taking part in physical activity can have a profound and positive impact on mental well-being. I want to place in my patients a sense of positivity and that being physically active can improve mood, decrease the chance of depression and anxiety, and lead to a better and more balanced lifestyle.
DeAmontay's Darkness Deliverance Scholarship
Unfortunately, race, religion, even the color of your skin play a major role in our everyday lives. I am a Palestinian, Muslim American young man and have always have to explain who, I am where I come from and my religion which is Muslim. I am an athlete and play football and basketball on my school team, but I am pretty small 5'8. Sometimes I wonder do they look at me strangly because I am not black or white, because I am a different race and religion? I honestly dont know. When the coaches first see me they always look at me oddly and I feel they are judging all aspects of me, not just my sports abilities. I have had to work so hard at prove to my coaches how good I actually am. It has been difficult and, very disappointing to say the least. Even my friends will sometimes joke about terrorism and me throwing bombs because I am Muslim. It hurts at times that they label my religion and race with terrorism, but i know that comes from ignorance and I get so sick and tired of having to defend my backround. Hopefully someday things will change, but unfortunately it does not look like it will happen anytime soon. Some of these coaches dehumanize you and make you feel less of a person. Mentally I have broken down so many times, but I persevered and pushed through it, with the love and patience of my mom always encouraging and giving me the courage to show them what I got. I really think we need to have sensitivity trainings for alot of these coaches and teachers, because to be quite honest they do not know how to talk to students. I am a very, loveable kind hearted person and love my friends and family. My goal in life is to bring peace, comfort, and positivity to
whom ever I come across. Life these days is filled with so much hate and negativity it has become scary to step foot outside. A little about myself is I am a senior in high school and hope to ultimately go to college and obtain a degree in sports medicine. I would love to give back some healing positivity to young athletes, they all need to hear they are great and will be fine. I hope you consider me for your amazing scholarship.

My passion has always been to heal athletes. Throughout high school, I have been involved in various sports, and it has always been my passion to have a career in sports, whether it be as an athlete or as a professional, helping to heal the athletes. As an athlete, I can't tell you the number of injuries I have had or the pains that I have endured playing sports.
My passion is to help heal young athletes so they are able to play at their full potential pain-free.
Many of my friends come from single parent homes, and I have seen them struggling. It is very difficult for them to get to practice, and if they made it to practice, they had to find a way home. Oftentimes, we had to buy items for our uniforms and such as polo shirts or hoodies, and they were unable to afford themselves. They had to do separate fundraisers in order to afford these items. One of my goals is to help athletes who come from single parent homes as I have. We often struggled because our mothers had to time manage everything between work, family, extra curriculuor activities, and so many other things.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, so many people have fallen into poverty. So many friends and their families have been financially struggling, including mine. It’s easy to think about poverty as a national crisis that is bigger than you, but there are actually lots of things you can do to influence this systemic problem right in your own community. My family and I lost everything during the pandemic. My mom lost her business and all her savings and my siblings savings where garnished due to unfortunate circumstances of a greedy landlord of the business. Regardless of all the struggles, we're slowly recovering. My mother has taught me even though we all may have obstacles that may try to block our roads to success we must never give up, we all have what it takes to succeed in life. We just have to take it one step at a time and have a lot of patience. Although I have had many hardships, I realize that I am blessed and getting my degree in sports medicine I will make it my first priority to give back to all those single moms that work so hard at raising their kids in this cruel world. It would be a great honor to be considered for this amazing scholorship.

Due to the pandemic and the many stresses that this pandemic has caused, my mother and father were forced to separate. My mother lost everything, and my father just abandoned us. We moved to California from Michigan to live with my grandmother to help take care of her and to basically start over again. It has been a real struggle to start over again in a new place.
Sports for us has been a life saver. My mom encouraged us to remain active. She found us personal trainers during the pandemic, and we kept mentally, and physically, active. My siblings and I are all on school sports teams. I have made both my Varsity basketball and football school team and will be on my school track team in the spring. I have maintained a 4.0 plus GPA with the constant push and encouragement of my mom. These past few years have been a struggle, and being in sports has been a positive experience, I wish we could all experience it, and I am so grateful I got this chance in high school. I formed a great brotherhood that I know will last a lifetime. I can honestly say that playing sports has helped me learn to control my emotions and channel negative feelings in a positive way. Playing sports has helped me be more resilient and feel better about myself. I have learned many social skills that I will use throughout my life. It has taught me to cooperate, and be less selfish, and to listen to others regardless of their feedback.
My mother has helped me to develop a positive sporting attitude by praising the team’s or others for their efforts, even if they don’t win. She has instilled in me to always try my hardest and to always be positive to my team or my opponent whether we win or lose.
Ultimately participating in sports, we develop social skills that will benefit us for the rest of our lives. My mom and many parents can also reap the social benefits of participating as good and positive team supporters, connecting with other adults outside of work or their other usual circles. Basically it's a win, win, for all participants in sports whether you're the athlete or the parent supporters.
I can't wait to see what my college future will hold for me. I would like to continue my education and pursue a career in sports medicine. I hope you consider me for this amazing scholorship opportunity.
Al-Haj Abdallah R Abdallah Muslim Scholarship
I hope to ultimately obtain my degree in sports medicine. I have been an avid athlete my entire life and have acquired many injuries and know the pains and struggles of athletes. I have always admired and been extremely thankful to my doctors and therapists who helped to heal and ease my pain, and I knew from them that I wanted to pursue a career in sports medicine.
With my sports medicine degree I hope to work with young athletes to help to teach them techniques in how to help minimize and ease their pain, and since I have been in a variety of sports I can relate to them and also communicate with them on their level.
I would like to say I made a difference in my community. I enjoyed volunteering in hospice care. It really touched my heart and taught me to be more sympathetic and a patience towards people because we never know a person's struggles and pains. It was a very heartwarming experience.
Being a Muslim means the world to me. I take a lot of pride and joy in being a Muslim. Praying my 5 prayers every day gives me great comfort and peace knowing that I am pleasing Allah. My friends are all curious about my religion, and I feel so humble and proud to share and teach them about Islam and the peace and comfort it brings me.
As a Muslim, I live by two characteristics, and they are discipline and structured, which helps me to follow the five pillars of Islam.
There are many misconceptions about Islam throughout the world. most of the world thinks that Muslims are terrorists because of how Muslims are shown on the television. It is in our human nature to believe everything they see or hear about Muslim, and unfortunately, they have made a negative concept about Muslims and treat them badly when they are seen near them. Everyone needs to realize that not all Muslims are terrorists and all the negative events that have occurred all over the world have been led by some extremist groups. It is said that “you should not judge someone without knowing them” but this concept of their own is completely ignored when they face a Muslim and judge him. Islam teaches me to respect elders and love children and promote brotherhood. Islam promotes justice and equality. I love that being a Muslim, you are treated equally. Whether you are Arab, Non-Arab, white, or black, you are treated equally in Islam.
Being a Muslim, my life is a is full of meaning and purpose, and this means the Muslim never loses his mental balance. A Muslim has to strive towards being a better Muslim so that with the passage of time, he or she becomes a better Muslim and on the Day of Judgment rises among the blessed ones. May Allah help us to become a Better Muslims! Ameen
