My name is Yara, and I am a Muslim girl in highschool. I consider myself to be a bold and driven person. Nothing could push me away once I set my mind on a goal. As a young teenager, I have many aspirations for the future. For one, I plan to practice medicine to improve the health of people in my community but also of the people in underprivileged communities, where health care is less accessible and requires improvements. I wish to enhance my fluency in Arabic and Spanish so that I can utilize these languages in their corresponding countries. I want to meet people of different cultures and gain the opportunity to use my future knowledge of medicine to aid their communities.
