The change I want to see in my community, the country, and the world is to see more kindness and happiness. I do this locally by talking to people with a smile on my face, helping people with basic things that they might not be able to do on their own, and volunteering with my local community to help those in need.

I lost my mom during the summer of 2018 when i was only 13 years old. I have faced challenges such as losing my home in Maryland, all of my friends, and my step father which was like a biological father to me. My mother never let me play sports even though i always wanted to, so in turn when she died i joined the basketball, football, and lacrosse team at my school in 8th grade. It enhanced my life by allowing me to grow close to other people my age, showing me how to work with others, and how fun and rewarding being good at something can be. I will pay it forward and create triumph out of tragedy by playing sports for my mothers memory and use the pain to work hard everyday in everything a do, and use to situation to make my abilities and the abilities of those around me better.
