Bio

I am a 2L student at the University of Texas School of Law. As an aspiring trial lawyer, this past fall, I served as a Judicial Intern to the Hon. Senior U.S. District Judge David A. Ezra in his Austin chambers. This past summer, I served as a Legal Intern at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Next summer, I will serve as a Summer Associate at Chamberlain Hrdlicka and Cokinos Young, two midsize law firms in Houston, where I will attain a broad array of civil litigation experience. Prior to law school, I cultivated my written and oral advocacy skills through my roles in non-profit and government work. I served as the Legislative Coordinator for the Texas Civil Rights Project (TCRP) during the 88th Legislative Session, as the Outreach Coordinator for CAIR-Houston, a chapter of the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights organization, and as a Legislative Aide for State Representative Armando Walle during the 87th Legislative Session. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Minor in Leadership Studies.
