WinnerBio
My name is Victoria Pennell I am 19 years old and I am a rising senior at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia. My major is Psychology Counseling and I hope to pursue a career in Counseling. I am very interested in working as a crisis intervention counselor. This type of counselor would work with people who have gone through extreme trauma. I really think this type of counselor is so important and much needed. In order to make this happen I will be getting my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling starting the Fall of 2024. I want to use my career to help others when they are at their worst. That is why counseling is what I have decided to pursue. I am very excited to get into the field and start working. I am a hard worker and will stop at nothing to reach my goals. I was able to get my Associate's degree in High School which has helped me get a jump start on college. I am passionate about Psychology and look forward to finishing the next year strong and learning even more about psychology and counseling.

Youssef University’s College Life Scholarship
All my life I have always dreamed of going to college to become a midwife. The first thing I have to do is go to nursing school and the get my bachelors which is a total of 4 years of college. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to duel enroll at my local public college in high school. So I was able to graduate high school with my associates degree which got me 2 years ahead. Nevertheless, I now have to pay for 4 years of college including room and board fees and living costs. The money adds up very quickly. If I had $1,000 right now I would put it towards my college education. I am attending Liberty University this fall and with rising costs all over the country, $1,000 would be an enormous blessing for me and my family.
