Bio

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible” Audrey Hepburn. My goal is to become an Architecture interior designer for individuals that are in need of an affordable friendly environment. I would like to combine nature with building designs because I belive nature is dying slowly and needs to be recovered. When I graduate my second goal is to provide the financials to my family when they were not able due to personal reasonings.

When I was a young Hispanic or Latino, many of my ancestors came to the United States from Mexico and Spain to pursue the education that would help them succeed in life. The enthusiasm for creating/designing a better environment for future generations of families is then brought into play. My great great grandfather was an immigrant who was determined to integrate into American society in order to realize his ambition. He was set on making learning English his primary priority. Later, in order to sound and even seem more like an American, he decided to abandon Spanish and speak only English for the rest of his life. He became enthused with his surroundings since he was so concerned about his presents. Due to the fact that he had come to America, my grandfather found it difficult to obtain the knowledge he required. As a result, he was unable to pursue his dream of becoming an architect, which he had when he first arrived in America. It was incredibly upsetting that he couldn't realize his dream. He therefore continued to develop his designs by creating various sustainable building iterations that were primarily residential. He sought to develop residential life so that everyone may enjoy the spaces of their dreams, which he supplied in floor plans. Regarding a little account of my grandfather, I grew up having a strong affinity for houses. I want to do something that he was unable to do as a child because he is still alive in my heart. My objective is to obtain the education I require, which he was unable to obtain, and to realize his dream objective of bringing his works to life. I work hard to achieve the grades I need in order to enroll in the University of Nebraska Lincoln. In addition to honoring my grandfather's wishes, I also aspire to be like the Latina architects who have made their mark on architectural history. After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln's College of Architecture, I hope to work for a firm and inspire other Hispanic individuals by demonstrating the beauty of design and the way how my grandfather viewed the world. In keeping with the way he saw the world, I'd like to remember the inspiration he gave and his desire to see the world improved for people of color so as to live in a place where they felt at home.

Being a Latina in architecture is a remarkable achievement. As a young Hispanic or Latino, many of my ancestors came to the United States from Mexico and Spain to pursue an education that would enable them to succeed in their lives as they moved forward in their lives. The enthusiasm for creating/designing a better environment for future generations of families is then brought into play. My great great grandfather was an immigrant who was determined to integrate into American society in order to realize his ambitions. He was set on making learning English his primary priority. It was not long before he made the decision to abandon Spanish as a language to be spoken only for the rest of his life. This left him sounding and even looking more like an American. He became enthused with his surroundings since he was so concerned about his presents. Due to the fact that he had come to America, my grandfather found it difficult to obtain the knowledge he required. Therefore, he was unable to pursue his dream of becoming an architect, which he had when he first arrived in America, and as a result, he was not able to fulfill his dream. It was incredibly upsetting that he couldn't realize his dream. He, therefore, continued to develop his designs by creating various sustainable building iterations that were primarily residential. In his floor plans, he discussed how to develop residential life in such a way that everyone can have access to their own personal space of dreams, which he made available for everyone. Regarding a brief story about my grandfather, I grew up having a strong affinity for houses. In his memory, I want to do something that he could not do as a child because in my heart he is still alive doing what he could not do. My objective is to obtain the education I require, which he was unable to obtain and to realize his ambition of bringing his works to life. I work hard to achieve the grades I need in order to enroll at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. In my first year of college, when learning about their history in relation to architecture, I first learned about Elvira Alonso. The Latina with talent and determination has helped me gain self-confidence and given me a sense of empowerment. In addition to honoring my grandfather's wishes, I also aspire to be like the Latina architects who have made their mark on architectural history. It is my hope that after I graduate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln's College of Architecture, I will be able to work for a firm and demonstrate the beauty of architecture to other Latina women.
    NE1 NE-Dream Scholarship
My greatest professional aspiration at the moment is to become a successful interior designer in the field of architecture. Since I was very young, design has been a great love of mine. The fact that I always wanted to watch HGTV programs about house flips, property brothers, and other things was different from other kids who watched cartoons. With the passing of time, I began to visit Pinterest and create folders of images that represented the perfect bedroom for me or the perfect kitchen for my mother, depending on the circumstances. Such as the lighting fixtures, cabinetry's color, texture, and pattern, as well as the room's design. Along with designing, I gained possession of my father's laptop and began playing the game Minecraft. This gave me design inspiration. The feeling of having your dreams come true was like being able to have your own world when your ambitions and ideas came true. It was like having your own universe within your own mind. I was able to create the farm which my father had imagined. My favorite stores were influenced by retail outfitters. The period when I was in high school when I always had close friends who wanted to pursue cosmetics was the time when I was inspired to establish a beauty school based on their desire to pursue their studies. In addition, I am passionate about nature combined with our world. For instance, the first structure I would like to construct after I finish college is a glass section in the middle of the space with a large tree in the middle, plants all around, and a small waterfall nearby. When it snows, you can enjoy the scenery while sipping hot chocolate. The same applies to individuals who enjoy watching it rain outside. For weather safety, I would make sure that the user's living area doesn't flood, and that any water that does, will be filtered and recycled into usable water for the user within the commercial home. Including engineering in numerous designs is one of my favorite designs. The modern world wouldn't be as advanced without the efforts of those who pursue careers in engineering. That includes elevators, cars, and other powerful devices. I would like to continue working toward being an interior design architect, though, because it is something I am passionate about and am interested in. With regard to creating their ideal outdoor space or dream kitchen, this will enable me to fulfill everyone's wishes. As a consumer, many people have trouble finding a service, such as a personal designer, that is convenient and reasonable for their schedules, and at the same time is affordable. As a result, in this situation, I am more motivated to use my skills to benefit the community and am inspired to pursue my dreams, such as enrolling in an architecture program and assisting those around me.
