Driven by my faith and a passion for the game of basketball, I'm a Christian man and a senior in highshcool who finds purpose in being a servant to others because of my love to help people. As a dedicated student-athlete, I've learned valuable lessons about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance through years of playing basketball. My faith serves as my foundation, guiding me to be a positive role model for my peers and teammates. I believe that through hard work and faith, I can make a difference not only in sports but also in my community especially by knowing at a young age that I'm an example to my generation that following God and putting all of your trust in him to get you where you want to be is the key. Disney Channel Rewind Scholarship
As a devoted fan of Disney Channel, narrowing down my two favorite shows is no easy feat, but if I were to envision a dream crossover, it would undoubtedly involve "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "Phineas and Ferb." These two shows, each with its unique charm, humor, and quirkiness, could create an unforgettable episode where the magical world of the Russos meets the inventive world of Phineas and Ferb. The episode title would be "Wizards Unite with Phineas and Ferb". In the episode, the Russo family is busy running their family-owned restaurant at Waverly Substation. However, Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) finds an ancient magic book in the basement. The book contains a spell of unimaginable power. Alex's curiosity gets the better of her and she decides to cast the spell without knowing the full effects.
In Danville, it's summer vacation time and Phineas (Vincent Martella) and Ferb are getting ready for their summer vacation. Phineas decides to build their own summer magic Extravaganza to make this summer even more magical. Unbeknownst to them, Alex's magic has caused a magical disturbance, ripping open a portal between Danville and Waverly Place. As a result of this disruption, magical elements start to seep into Phineas' and Ferb's worlds, causing chaos and unexpected magical events. Nothing is normal in Danville anymore. As the magical disturbances continue, the magical family quickly realizes something is wrong. They track down the source of the disturbance and make their way to the portal to shut it down. When they get to Danville they are greeted by talking platypus and flying carpets and magical gadgets that they designed themselves. The Russo wizards are worried about showing off their magic skills to the rest of the world, but they soon find out they are not just normal kids, they are real wizards who want to help them close the portal. The unlikely team of Russ wizards and the genial Phineas-and-Ferb duo set off on a magical journey to find the missing page of the magic book and undo the spell that opened the portal. They encounter magical creatures, travel through a dream dimension made up of Doofenshirtz’s “inator,” and even sing a catchy song about the power of friendship and team-building. Eventually, the two universes come together in a showdown, and with Alex’s magic and Phineas’ and Ferb’s inventive skills, they can shut the portal down just in time to keep Danville from spinning out of control.
They find the location of the disturbance and proceed to the portal to close it. When they arrive in Danville, they are met with talking platypuses, flying carpets, and magical inventions that they have made themselves. The Russ wizards are afraid to show off their magical abilities to the outside world but soon discover that they are real wizards who are willing to help them shut the portal.
The unlikely duo of Russ wizards, as well as the genial duo of Phineas and Ferb, set out on a magical quest to find the lost page of the magical book and reverse the spell that caused the portal to open. Along the way, they meet magical creatures, explore a dream dimension created by the “inator”, and even sing an uplifting song about the strength of friendship and teamwork.
In the end, the universes collide in a final battle, and thanks to Alex's magic, Phineas and Ferb's ingenuity, they can shut down the portal in time to prevent Danville from going crazy.
Mental Health Importance Scholarship
In the ever-changing world of life, I firmly believe that mental health is one of the most important aspects of our lives. It is the thread that holds our lives together and influences every aspect of our day-to-day lives.
In this essay, I will explore why mental health is so important to me and share some of the strategies I use to keep my mental health in check.
For me, my mental health is like a compass that guides me through life. It shapes my perception, shapes my experiences, and determines how I interact with the world.
When my mental health is strong, I am better equipped to face the many challenges life throws at me, from the every day to the more difficult trials.
On the other hand, if I neglect my mental health, it can cloud even the brightest moments of my life, preventing me from enjoying life’s beauty.
Our modern world is full of stressors – from the pressures of work to the expectations of society and the constant stream of information we are bombarded with.
If we don’t manage to keep our mental health in check, we can suffer from anxiety, depression, and other forms of mental health is why I put so much emphasis on keeping my mental health in check. To do this, I have adopted a multi-pronged approach that includes self-awareness, self-care, and getting professional help when I need it.
In my opinion, self-awareness is the foundation of mental health. It involves taking the time to reflect on my thoughts, feelings, and how I react to things around me. By doing this, I can become more aware of the small changes in my mental environment, which allows me to spot early signs that I am stressed or anxious. This allows me to take proactive steps, such as taking a break from stressful situations or reaching out for help from friends and family.
Physical self-care is about taking care of both my body and mind. Exercise, eating a healthy diet, and getting enough sleep are all important parts of this. But it's not just about physical health. It's also about mental and emotional health. Doing mindfulness, meditating, and enjoying hobbies that make me happy are all essential parts of my mental and emotional well-being. These activities soothe my mind and give me a break from the hustle of my day-to-day life. I am also a firm believer in the power of seeking professional help when needed. Just like we go to a doctor for a physical ailment, a therapist can provide guidance and help with emotional issues. There is no shame in asking for help and I have learned that it is a strength, not a weakness, to seek professional help when dealing with mental health problems.
To sum up, my faith in mental health is rooted in the fact that it has a direct impact on every aspect of our lives. To keep my mental health in check, I take a holistic approach that includes self-care and being ready to seek help when needed. In an ever-changing world where our mental resilience is often tested, having a healthy mental state is not just a choice, it is an integral part of living a balanced and fulfilling life. By setting mental health at the top of our list of priorities, we give ourselves the strength and resilience to face life’s challenges head-on.

Growing up as a Young man who was practically raised in the church, while also being in a household where my mother battled cancer, and with no father in my life, I embarked on a unique journey that has profoundly influenced my beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. This is my story. A story of resilience, faith, and the unwavering support of those who became my family.
The foundation of my journey lies in my Christian faith. From a young age, my mother instilled in me the importance of turning to God in times of trouble. As her illness progressed, I witnessed her unwavering faith in the face of pain and uncertainty. Her resilience and trust in God left an indelible mark on my beliefs.
My experiences have solidified my belief that faith can move mountains. Witnessing my mother's unwavering trust in God's plan, even in the darkest moments of her illness, reinforced my conviction that faith can provide strength, hope, and solace during life's most challenging storms when it's deeply rooted in God.
Watching my mother endure the physical and emotional toll of cancer has cultivated deep empathy within me. I've learned to see the world through the eyes of those who suffer, igniting a passion for helping others and spreading love and compassion.
Our family and close friends became my rock during these turbulent times. Their unwavering support and prayers bolstered my belief in the power of community and the importance of nurturing these connections.
My relationship with my mother transcended the conventional mother-son dynamic. We became each other's pillars of strength. Her courage and resilience taught me the value of unconditional love and selfless sacrifice.
In the absence of a father figure, my pastor stepped in to provide guidance and mentorship. His support was a testament to the power of what a man can do when they step up.
My circumstances prompted me to actively seek positive male role models in my life. These mentors, whether from church or the community, helped me navigate the complexities of life, offering guidance and support.
The hardships of my childhood ignited a desire to make a difference in the healthcare field. Witnessing my mother's journey and the dedication of healthcare professionals inspired me to pursue a career where I could combine my compassion and faith to alleviate the suffering of others.
The challenges my family faced illuminated systemic issues in healthcare access and support. My career aspirations now include advocacy and community service to address these disparities, making quality healthcare more accessible for all.
The trials I faced growing up equipped me with resilience and determination. These qualities have become my compass, guiding me towards a career path that thrives in the face of adversity, whether it be in healthcare, advocacy, or any field where I can make a meaningful impact.
In conclusion, my journey of growing and going through all of these obstacles in my life has left an indelible mark on my beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations. My faith, born out of adversity, has taught me the strength of resilience and the power of compassion. The relationships I've forged within my church and community have become my extended family, offering guidance and support. My career aspirations now revolve around making a difference in healthcare and advocating through ministry for those facing similar hardships.
Though my path has been marked by challenges, it is also illuminated by the faith, love, and unwavering support that have shaped me into the person I am today. My journey continues, driven by the belief that even in life's darkest moments, there is an opportunity for growth, compassion, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on the world by reflecting on Jesus to everyone through me.

I am a Christian
But that doesn’t mean I’m perfect but I strive to be
Cuz the only person that’s perfect is Jesus who is the key
I am a Christian
But I’m not homophonic I’m suppose to love everybody not the life style but if I say that everyone hates me and becomes hostile and asks me questions like if I’m on trial
I’m a Christian
But I’m human too I can laugh and have fun just not in ways that not are not like God
I’m a Christian
But if I get caught messing up I get asked “I thought u was a Christian” question like yes I’m a Christian that’s goes to God everyday for a confession cuz I fall everyday and think am I doing Good work for God or am I a fraud because daily I feel flawed or like ice that has thawed but I’m not called I’m chosen so I gotta move like derozan pass the people
That in my way
I’m a Christian
And I’m always on display like a piece of pray the devil wanna take out
I’m a Christian
And I a have full connection to God cuz I’m his child that’s sometimes wild but never undermined
