In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, one area ripe for innovation is renewable energy, particularly solar power. Solar technology has made significant strides in recent years, but there is still immense potential to improve its efficiency and accessibility. My vision for advancing solar technology involves the development of more efficient solar panels that can capture and convert sunlight into energy even under low-light conditions, such as during cloudy days or in shaded areas. By incorporating advanced materials and nanotechnology, we can create solar panels that maximize energy absorption and efficiency, making solar power a more reliable and viable option for a broader range of locations and conditions. To achieve this, one promising approach is the integration of perovskite materials into solar panels. Perovskite solar cells have shown great potential due to their high efficiency and lower production costs compared to traditional silicon-based cells. By advancing the stability and scalability of perovskite solar cells, we can create hybrid panels that combine the strengths of both perovskite and silicon technologies. This hybrid approach could significantly boost the overall efficiency of solar panels, making them more effective in converting sunlight into electricity. Additionally, these panels could be produced at a lower cost, making solar energy more affordable and accessible to a wider population. Another innovation in solar technology involves the development of flexible and transparent solar panels. Traditional solar panels are rigid and opaque, which limits their applications and aesthetic integration into various environments. By advancing flexible and transparent solar technology, we can expand the use of solar panels to a variety of surfaces, including windows, building facades, and even wearable devices. Imagine buildings with windows that generate electricity while still allowing natural light to pass through, or clothing that can charge your electronic devices on the go. This innovation would not only increase the adoption of solar technology but also seamlessly integrate renewable energy into our daily lives in aesthetically pleasing ways. Finally, enhancing energy storage solutions is crucial for the widespread adoption of solar power. Solar energy is intermittent by nature, depending on sunlight availability. To address this challenge, we need to innovate in the field of energy storage, particularly with advanced battery technologies. Developing more efficient, durable, and affordable batteries will enable us to store excess solar energy generated during the day for use at night or during cloudy periods. Innovations in solid-state batteries, which offer higher energy density and safety compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries, could be a game-changer in this regard. By advancing energy storage technologies, we can ensure a stable and reliable supply of solar energy, making it a more practical and dependable source of power. In conclusion, there are several ways to innovate and advance current solar technology to make renewable energy more efficient, accessible, and integrated into our lives. By focusing on improving the efficiency of solar panels through advanced materials like perovskite, developing flexible and transparent panels for diverse applications, and enhancing energy storage solutions, we can significantly boost the adoption and impact of solar power. These innovations will not only help address the global energy demand sustainably but also contribute to reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and mitigating the effects of climate change. Embracing and advancing solar technology is a crucial step towards a cleaner and more sustainable future.

My academic pursuit is in Information Technology, AA.Associate of Arts, in a community college program. The opportunity to pursue higher education in the United States is a great privilege to me. However, the cost of tuition is an obstacle. This funding would help me pay my bills, pursue my academic goals and help me to positively contribute to my society. My bills would be paid with the help of this scholarship. I’m in need of financial assistance because my parents cannot afford to support my education. In Nigeria, my Dad has been my financial supporter throughout my education, and he is the provider of our home. A few years ago, he retired from his occupation due to old age. In addition to that, our currency has a low exchange rate compared to US dollars. Hence, it seems to me that I am pursuing a degree completely on my own. My financial situation is very challenging. The decision to study cybersecurity is driven by a combination of factors, including the urgent need for digital protection, the societal impact of securing sensitive information, the ever-evolving nature of the field, abundant career opportunities, and a sense of ethical responsibility. My academic goals can be achieved with the help of this scholarship. Sometimes, keeping up with school bill payments can be a distraction, especially when the funds are not coming in. My community service experiences have greatly influenced my values and perspectives. As a student in community college, I joined a local church dedicated to community service (Royal House RCCG). As a volunteer, I have participated in many activities, from setting up tables and preparing food for distribution to cleaning up afterwards. Each experience has not only enriched my life but also deepened my understanding of the importance of giving back to the community. Engaging in community service means more than just volunteering my time; it is an opportunity to connect with others, create a sense of belonging, and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. My favorite experience was lifting food boxes from the table to the beneficiaries' cars. Initially, I saw it as a way to help those less privileged, but it quickly became clear that it was much more than that. I was humbled by the kind words and gratitude expressed by those we served. I learned how important compassion and empathy are, and how even small acts of kindness can profoundly impact others. I believe that community service is crucial for several reasons. First, it meets immediate needs and provides essential services that are otherwise unavailable. In addition, it contributes to a sense of unity. Unity is necessary to create a harmonious and supportive community. Those who volunteer come together from diverse backgrounds, learning to understand one another and breaking down social barriers. Furthermore, community service promotes civic responsibility. It reminds me that we are part of a larger social society and that our actions have a great effect on those around us. In my opinion, by actively participating in community service, we model positive behavior for others, particularly younger generations, instilling values of generosity, empathy, and civic engagement. Aside from its immediate benefits, community service has also contributed to my growth as a person. I was able to develop teamwork, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills through volunteering. Generally, volunteers develop a deeper understanding of diverse viewpoints and learn to navigate complex social situations. These skills and experiences are good qualities, contributing to both personal and professional development. In conclusion, community service is a vital component of a thriving society. It addresses critical needs, fosters social cohesion, and promotes personal growth. My experiences in community service have profoundly impacted my life, reinforcing the importance of empathy, responsibility, and active engagement in my community. Through giving back, we not only improve the lives of others but also enrich our own, creating a cycle of positivity and support that benefits everyone. Additionally, community service helps us be responsible citizens. It reminds me that we are part of a bigger community and that what we do affects others. By taking part in community service, we show good behavior that others, especially younger people, can learn from, such as being kind, caring, and active in the community. Besides the immediate help it gives, community service has helped me grow as a person. Through volunteering, I learned how to work well with others, lead a group, and solve problems. Volunteers also get better at understanding different viewpoints and handling complex social situations. These are important skills that help in both personal and professional life.

The memories and experiences we share with our siblings shape who we become in life. The strength and inspiration my younger sister provided me meant the world to me. I have gained a great deal of personal growth through the comfort and fellowship she has provided me through challenges in my life. Throughout my journey, I have been supported and encouraged by my sibling's unwavering support. As a result of her resilience in the face of adversity and genuine kindness, she left an indelible mark on my heart. Whether I'm helping a classmate, doing community service, or simply listening, I aim to embody the spirit of compassion that defined my sibling. In doing so, I hope to create a ripple effect that spreads the warmth and empathy that my sibling exhibited. It has been challenging to cope with the loss of such an integral part of my life. Keeping in touch with her through long phone calls has helped me navigate this emotional terrain. My sibling meant everything to me, and her influence continues to shape my actions and aspirations. I carry the torch of her legacy as I pursue education, fueled by the lessons they taught and the love that still captivates me. As I continue down this journey, I strive to make a meaningful impact, just as my sibling did, and to ensure that her spirit lives on through the positive changes I make.

I came to the United States on August 22nd, 2016, on an F1 visa to acquire higher ministry skills from a bible college at Christ for the Nations Institute. During my first week of school, I asked my cousin to drive me to school. Since I enjoy education so much, I didn't want to miss out. At first, he opposed giving me a ride by saying that he was too tired to drive. Then, he rested a little bit and later gave me a ride. I decided I would not bother him for a ride since he worked overnight every day, and my school is in the morning. I didn’t call him to come and pick me up. I was not registered as a student while I was attending school. I needed $5000 to register for the spring semester. On the first day of resumption, I was looking for a place to stay so that I wouldn’t have to go back home and trouble my cousin for a ride each morning. luckily, one of my classmates introduced me to someone called pastor Matthew living close to my school. Pastor Matthew allowed me to stay in his house. We were about 6 or 7 in his house. I slept on the couch all through my time staying with him. It was hard for me because I didn't have a dollar on me to buy food and I couldn't go to the cafeteria to get food because I have not registered yet and I have no meal plan. However, every night when Pastor Matthew comes back home, he would ask me "have you eaten today?" I would reply to him honestly without pretense. Then he would find me something to eat. After four days of sleeping on the couch, I decided to go to my uncle's place because I was starving. The following week I came back to school. I met a family from my home country who allowed me to stay with them. Though I haven't paid my school fees, the family fed me well. Hence, feeding and accommodation was no longer a problem. Paying my school bill was the only problem I had left. I discussed my financial situation with my DSO. I told her about my sponsor and the high exchange rate between my home currency and the dollar. In response, she did not provide either encouragement or a solution. My heart was so heavy after my conversation with her, and I went to sleep. Next, the two-week extension period ended, and the registration was closed. My uncle came back to the United States in the third week. In the past two weeks, classes have been going on, and I had lost hope of becoming a student for the spring semester. I even contemplated returning to my home country. As soon as my uncle arrived, he followed me to the school and the finance officer told him that I would not be allowed to register for the semester if I did not enroll the same day. Upon hearing about the option, his wife went to borrow the money. Therefore, I registered as a full-time student with an accommodation and meal plan for the spring semester. This experience has built my confidence and courage to persist in any difficulty. The experience of spring semester 2017 encourages me whenever I face trials or challenges.

My life has been enriched by the arts in many ways. Through the arts, I have gained a deeper understanding of the world as well as personal growth. In addition to entertainment, the arts also give me the opportunity to express myself, gain insight, and connect with other cultures. Firstly, It is important to note that the arts are powerful modes of expression because they allow individuals to convey complex emotions, ideas, and perspectives that may be difficult to convey in other ways. Artistic forms allow us to explore the human experience deep and nuanced, whether it's through a brushstroke on a canvas, the eloquence of a well-crafted poem, or the emotive notes of a musical composition. This allows me to convey my thoughts and feelings through the arts, which become a medium for self-discovery and introspection. In addition, the arts foster creativity and imagination, encouraging a departure from routine. When I engage with artistic expressions, I am inspired to think beyond the constraints of everyday life, inspiring innovative ideas and nurturing a curiosity-driven mindset. As well as being personally satisfying, creative stimulation also improves problem-solving skills and lateral thinking. Beyond individual benefit, the arts serve as a valuable medium for fostering cultural understanding and connectivity. Through them, ideas, traditions, and values can be exchanged between different societies. Whether it's a novel that provides insights into a distant culture or a dance performance that embodies the spirit of a community, the arts have the power to transcend geographical and linguistic boundaries, creating a shared human experience that unites people across the globe. Furthermore, the arts contribute significantly to the preservation of cultural heritage. They encapsulate the collective wisdom, stories, and identity of a community or civilization, ensuring that these narratives are passed down through generations. By engaging with artistic traditions, I connect with the rich tapestry of human history, fostering a sense of continuity and grounding in the larger narrative of our shared existence. In essence, the arts are a source of inspiration, a catalyst for self-discovery, a vehicle for cultural exchange, and a repository of human history. They are not merely a luxury or a form of entertainment; rather, they are an integral part of what it means to be human. Through the arts, I find a deeper understanding of myself, an appreciation for the diversity of the human experience, and a profound connection to the world around me.

I came to the United States on August 22nd, 2016, on an F1 visa to acquire higher ministry skills from a bible college. I was unable to resume with my classmates on the resumption date because I was having financial difficulties. My uncle helped me pay for my school for the previous semester. But in my spring semester, he was not able to help me with my school bill because he was working on a project that required a lot of money. He also needed to travel back to his home country during this time. He resides in the United States, and I stayed with him and his family. As a student, I faced challenges such as not having enough money to pay my school bill and not having a reliable vehicle to move around. I stayed with his children while he was away from home. We were twenty-five minutes away from my school. I was fortunate to have a cousin who has a driver's license and knows how to drive. He usually worked an overnight shift and would rest once he got home. During my first week of school, I asked my cousin to drive me to school. Since I enjoy education so much, I didn't want to miss out. I needed $5000 to register for the spring semester. The registration closed on the first day of resumption. Later, the school announced to extend the registration for two weeks. Nevertheless, $5000 was a lot of funds to raise between the two weeks of extension to register as a student. I applied for a job the previous semester, but I did not receive an invitation for an interview.

A few years ago, my dad retired from his occupation due to old age. In addition to that, our currency has a low exchange rate compared to US dollars. Hence, i have been having challenges paying for school bills. It seems to me that I am pursuing a degree completely on my own. My financial situation is very challenging. I could not register for classes in my last school for about two weeks after the start of classes. My parents are wonderful to me, and they did their best in raising me up. As noted earlier, though they could not support me financially anymore, they always encouraged me to persist in my academic pursuit. Every time I feel distracted from my studies by the stress deadlines coming up, their words have kept me going. I'm hoping that this funding will help me stick to my academic goals and be more focused. The funds from this scholarship can help me to positively contribute to my society. Some organizations experience cyber breaches, and people's identities are stolen virtually. For this reason, we need more cyber professionals to mitigate cyberattacks and prevent identity theft. I am going to school to become a cyber professional. Every society is made up of diverse organizations, such as government, telecommunications, healthcare, banking and finance, schools, and many more. Cyberattacks can occur at any time without warning, causing damage to the system and data loss. Additionally, a single attack could cost millions of dollars. Society needs more cyber professionals who are familiar with the latest security systems and software to be safe and secure. Educating the public can prevent identity theft. It is common for people to click on links ignorantly, resulting in their information being stolen. The purpose of these links is to expose the operating system to attacks. Moreover, people browse websites with insecure connections. My goal is to make free videos and posts to enlighten people on different attacks they may be able to prevent by gaining adequate knowledge. I intend to transfer from paper to practice everything I am learning as a student in the field of technology. The process may require constant monitoring and the ability to be reached at any time when issues arise.

I came to the United States on August 22nd, 2016, on an F1 visa to study at Christ for the Nations Institute. The first week of school I asked my cousin to give me a ride to school. Because I love education and I don't want to miss out on what is going on. It was not convenient for him because he worked an overnight shift and he would want to rest once he came home. One day, when I asked him to give me a ride, he objected at first by saying he was too tired to drive. He rested a little bit and gave me a ride. I went to talk with my DSO and so that I can explain my financial situation. I talked to her about my sponsor and the exchange of my home currency to dollar which has gone high.
