      I Can Do Anything Scholarship
The dream version of myself is a famous football player who has earned a degree in criminal justice, while mentoring to my community and youth, helping them to become a better person while reaching for their dream version of themselves.
      Ruth Hazel Scruggs King Scholarship
Once I earn my degree I plan to help my community by working to make our neighborhoods, schools, and community a better place to live, learn, and be safe by all means necessary. I plan to give back to the community by donating my time and helping hands. I plan to continue being a mentor to the youth so that they can have someone there to listen to them when times are hard. They can have someone who cares enough to teach them right from wrong as well as mold them to be the best that they can be. Someone who really cares for the people. That someone will definitely be me. In a world of today it is impossible for anyone to get ahead without a positive force backing them. We all need someone who is not only concerned about themselves, but someone who cares about others. This is what it takes to build a strong community. I also plan to dedicate my time whenever needed rather it’s at a food bank, community walk, or neighborhood search. I plan to protect and save my community and the the people who surround it. When people can feel safe and not worry or stress about someone doing harm to them or others who are in their community it makes a big difference for everyone. I will make sure to serve and protect my community. I will do my best to find other concerned people within the community to help make it better. I will make sure to support businesses within the community ever chance that I get. I will make sure to support events and organizations within my community. I will reach out to local charities to see if there is anything that I can do to assist them to make things better. Having the support from your community makes thing a whole lot better because no one has to venture out or beg for unwanted participation from anyone. Through volunteer work, leadership, and philanthropic contributions, my degree will help me to enrich the civic and economic life of my community. While making sure my community is going into the right direction I will also seek other individuals who do not mind helping to keep the community clean and safe. Making the world a safe and positive place to be is what pursues and drives me to get my degree in criminal justice.

      Our Destiny Our Future Scholarship
I plan to make a positive on the world by helping to bring the best out of others. There are a lot of people in the world who need to be surrounded by someone to help them to be the best that they came be and I know that I am one of the people put here on earth to help them do so. I plan to continue to mentor our youth to help them to continue to reach for the stars. I would love for them to find something positive that interested them to help them to become whatever their heart desires. I plan to help stop crime in our community making it a safe haven for everyone. There is no better feeling than being able to walk amongst your neighborhood feeling safe and secure. I plan to help give back to my community in any way possible. I plan to find out what concerns others and what is it that I can to help others. I plan to help feed the homeless and donate to whatever charity’s I am able to. I have so many ideas that come through my mind day after day and it excites me to know that I can and will make a difference one day. The small works that I have began to do on my own will soon pay off. I must say it all takes a lot of hard work and support from others. I will reach to find others who also plan to make a difference within the community and see if there is a way we can all come together to make a difference. I have always known that teamwork makes the dreamworld, and putting together a group of people with similar ideas will always be a great idea. Making the world a better place takes a group of people who are willing to sacrifice for others, while going over and beyond to make things right. The less negative energy surrounding everyone brings upon a stronger, peaceful, pleasant bond to everyone. I feel that surrounding the world with more peace, love, and joy will definitely make the world a better peaceful place. A place where everyone can come together and live without worrying and stressing over foolishness. I will be the one to save life’s from darkness and bring them into the marvelous light without hurt, shame, and embarrassed.

I love to play football and I am very passionate about it. It is a lot of fun with lots of contact. Football is very physical. The vast majority of people think football is just a sport. However, to me it has been one of the greatest things I have yet to do. It has given me a surplus of life skills I can carry to my adulthood. The time I have spent on this sport is time I would never take back, because of how useful it is to me. It has taught me many of things along the way. Throughout the past couple of years I have always been excited to play football. I started playing football at the age of 5. I must say I have so much love for the game. The love is so massive, that I want to pursue a career that affiliates with the sport. I know that I have what it takes to become the next big thing and I plan to work hard to become something special. Playing football has taught me many life skills. This sport has helped me tremendously in my leadership skills. It has taught me to always lead by example. It has also taught me to help others to overcome obstacles that they may feel are impossible. I go hard everyday in practice to show my teammates that this is where it all begins. It is not good to wait for game day to give it your all you must go hard right then and there at practice just as you would on game day. Football has also pushed me to be the best student I could possibly be. Playing the game I love has also taught me the philosophy of a student-athlete. That philosophy is that I need to be passing my classes with flying colors in order to play, because being “a football player” does not mean football is my only priority. So keeping that thought in mind, I was able to remain in all my honor classes and past them with flying colors. I graduated early with a 3.9 GPA. I am a honor roll student, a member of the National Honor Society as well as the 5000 Role model. I must say it feels good being a student athlete. In addition to being a student athlete, it has helped me over and beyond when it comes to being in physical shape. I have gained a lot of muscle credited to all the football workouts I have done throughout the season. This workouts has become regular for me and will help me as I get older. It will make things a lot easier for me to work out since I am already familiarized with it. I must I am very happy and satisfied with my physical appearance, attitude, and achievements. These are all some of the reasons why I am so passionate about football and why it is an important part of my life. I am thankful for all it has taught me and all that it has in store for me.

I love math because it helps me to learn the value of many things. It helps me to exercise my brain in many ways. Math for me means so much more than just adding, subtracting, and figuring out word problems. It’s like a science that breaks down many solutions. Unlike many other subject areas, Maths is not subjective. Every question has a clear answer and when you solve it, you can either be right or wrong. There’s no grey area. I personally enjoy this objective approach and the certainty that comes with it. Math is always a challenge. There is no place for speculation. Whenever you try to prove something in maths, you need evidence. I personally believe that this is something which should be applied in other aspects of life as well…imagine the number of misunderstandings which could be prevented if visual/auditory evidence had to be provided!
