Bio

One must work hard in life to attain what they long for. Having attended 10 schools since kindergarten, I have always had to go the extra mile. I am pursuing a degree in both chemical and biomolecular engineering. I would like to use my education to engender social progress while simultaneously promoting innovation. I am passionate about Christ, STEM and Music, and I also like to learn about the political process; interestingly, I submitted questions to the Presidential Debates in 2020. I held multiple leadership positions in high school related to the aforementioned fields, including, but not limited to, STEM club president and I was a part of my school's Student Government Association. Additionally, I’ve created my own club for African-American students, to ensure that they have access to an adequate STEM education— Check it out: https://afrostemletes.weebly.com/ Why is an adequate education in STEM indispensable for the Black community? STEM is a diverse field. Almost every field is connected to STEM. Do you like animals? Try ethology -- that represents the "science" in STEM. Do you like coding? Try computer science -- that represents the "technology" in STEM. I could go on incessantly. Having said that, Black individuals are gravely underrepresented in this field. This is because Black individuals have limited access to quality STEM resources. Hopefully, I will change that with my online resource.
