Hi, My name is Te’la. Ever since I could remember I have always had a strong passion for animals, and I believe that they deserve the best possible care. Becoming a veterinarian would allow me to provide medical assistance to animals and ensure their well-being. I am committed to working hard and studying diligently to acquire the skills and knowledge required to become a competent veterinarian. It is my goal to make a positive impact on the lives of animals. I believe that pursuing this career will allow me to do just that. I am excited to see what journey awaits me.

In today's society, there are many challenges that we have to face on a daily basis. From environmental issues to health issues, these challenges require innovative solutions that combine creative thinking and science. One example is the development of inexpensive prosthetics for amputees.
Prosthetic limbs have historically been very expensive and beyond the reach of many people who need them. As a result, a significant proportion of people today suffer from disorders that greatly reduce their quality of life. But a group of scientists and engineers at the University of Toronto have developed a novel approach to the problem.
The team, led by Professor Matt Ratto, first looked at how people use and operate prosthetic limbs. They found that many amputees don't use prostheses as often as possible because they find them uncomfortable or awkward. The focus is now on developing easy-to-use prostheses.
To achieve this, they used his 3D printing technology to create custom-fit prostheses that can be easily customized to each user's needs. We have also developed a unique sensor system that allows the user to control the prosthesis using muscle movements.
The result is a prosthesis that costs less than $1,000, is easy to use, and offers a high level of functionality to the user. This innovative solution has the potential to improve the quality of life for millions of people around the world who live with disabilities.
