Taylor Gwinn is a summa cum laude honor graduate of the illustrious Howard University, where she majored in Health Management and minored in psychology. During her time at Howard, she was awarded the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Highest Scholastic Achievement Award. This award is presented to the student with the highest GPA and a record of academic excellence. Coming from humble beginnings, she quickly determined that service would be the foundation for all her life endeavors. With this guiding principle in mind, she acquired an extensive amount of experience within civic and community organizations. She has volunteered for organizations such as Bright Beginnings, Martha’s Table, Piedmont Hospital Atlanta, and Reading Partners. Even starting her own 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2020 for young girls of color by the name of B.E.S.T. You Programming. In the fall, she will attend the University of South Carolina School of Law in hopes of becoming the first law school graduate in her family.
