I am currently a senior in highschool. I am very passionate about film and creating better representation in my community. I believe film holds one of the biggest platforms in society right now and I want to use to give the people in my community validation, someone to look up to, and a push to uplift themselves and others. Representation is becoming more accessible, however, racial groups are falling victim to the same tropes that were in place before. I plan to change that and influence others to learn more about these communities before writing them.
