My goal in life is to own my own restaurant, And become a chef of that restaurant. I have loved to cook since I was a patient of mine since I was a little kid. I would be a good candidate for these scholarships because these scholarships will help me achieve my dream and I would love to go to college. I may not be one for school but if there is a wall in the way I will knock it down and run right past it.

Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship
I been fighting with depression for about six year I know you can't tell that by my profile but If you look up on the internet for (hawaii news now south point shootout jamie jason). my mom was in the shoot out and she got shot but my mom was not a cop she was the one be shot at good thing me and my siblings are living with my aunt and uncle. after my uncle told me the news about what happened about my mom . I was just really disappointed more than anything you would think not have your kids for a few years it would turn you around and and get you back on track to get your kids back right. If it wasn't for my aunt and uncle more than likely my brother, sister and I would probably all be seperated. I was really mad at my mom every weekend after the first month that she was in jail she called , I never answered the phone till I was 18 years old. when I turned 18 she called on my birthday and I answered. Her and I talked and cryed until her time was up for using the phone. I felt really good to talk to her but even now I love my mom but I still don't forgive her for choosing drugs and friends over her own kids.
Grow The Game Volleyball Scholarship
This scholarship would be good for me because It will give me a chance to play volleyball at a higher level.I played varsity volleyball in my freshman year at keaau high school. after I graduate if I don't get my dream job or major in what I want to pursue, I want to play sports like volleyball, basketball or even football. When I graduate I don't want to become an old man and sit around and do nothing. I am a person that if I want something I will work my hardest to get it. My academic strengths are math and science. My athletic strengths are running and jumping. My average mile time is 5:56 and my high jump 28 inches. I loved sports when I was younger. I thought that volleyball was only for girls as I started to get older. I started to like volleyball. I never started to play volleyball till I was in high school. I was surprised that I was put in with the varsity in my freshman year to be honest my school wasn't that good at volleyball anyway. But still I was surprised when I was a freshman. I was 5'6 now that I am a senior. I am 5'11/5" tall.
