Team USA Fan Scholarship
Firstly thank you for taking the time to review my essay. It's hard to pinpoint exactly who my favorite athlete is, so I will name a few and explain why. Simone Biles is one of the few athletes I cheer for because she really advertises for mental health. She tries to stay positive and happy all the time, but when it comes to being serious or for something important, she really puts forth the effort. The next athlete I cheer for is Sunisa Lee. I cheer for her because she inspires me since she is close to my age. She makes me know that I can do anything at such a young age. I have been supporting Sunni since her first Olympic debut and through her college gymnastics. Just because she shines so bright. The next athlete I cheer for is Jordan Chiles. She is such an amazing gymnast and person. She stays so positive throughout any outcome. I've been watching her these last 2 Olympics, and she remains so positive and helpful to her teammates. Even if she doesn't win, she is always so happy and proud of her teammates. The last athlete I cheer for is Tara Davis-Woodhall. She is so inspiring and uplifting. I never really had an interest in watching track-and-field until I was watching clips of her being so happy and encouraging. I was able to watch her beat the world record in leaps. The way she was so happy and the love she shared between her and her husband was so great. I also loved when she was in the photoshoot room Cheering on her roommate, getting so excited that her roommate won gold as well. She inspires me because she has a good heart and she strives for what she wants. Overall, I cheer on the entire USA team. However, these four women just stand out so much to me and inspire me to do great things every day.
Thank you again for considering me for this scholarship.

GUTS- Olivia Rodrigo Fan Scholarship
I understand now and I will always remember that it was never my fault, or my job to fix the situation. I used to ask myself wasn't my fault?
I resonate to Olivia Rodrigo song "vampire," however it's not about a relationship with a boy to me I feel I resonated with it through the fact of the relationship I had with my father. My issue started with him when I was about 16, and I felt like I was having to be the adult in the situation trying to fix our issues and trying to get us to talk it out. And then he would go tell people different things and lies that made me look like the bad person. Due to that I have always thought it was my fault but through this I matured a lot quicker and I realized it wasn't my fault it's his choices he decided to make.
I cannot choose just one verse out of her song " vampire," there are two of them that really stick out to me. One verse in the song is, "how's the castle built off of people you pretend to care about?" This one really got me because he never did really care he never tried to fix anything. He never really cared about me or really anyone in my family he just left as if he didn't know us. And now he has the so-called perfect life for the family.
The second verse that I really had a connection with was, " bleedin' me dry like a goddamn vampire." I felt like every ounce of positivity or happiness that I would put towards or just have for myself he would dream right out of me by being negative or saying things about me to other people. I also feel like if we got one step in the positive direction he just drain it with negativity and put us 20 steps backwards. He bled all the positivity out of me so much I had major anxiety, and I knew that I needed to change, so I cut him out of my life completely.
I love Olivia Rodriguez songs, because she writes songs that are so relatable in any situation. Just how this song was about a boy I turned it into a situation with me and my father. Songs like these can really help people realize that they're not alone and they're not the only one going through issues and it's okay to have these feelings.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review my essay and consider me for the scholarship. I truly appreciate it. The scholarship would help me finish my education, so I can go towards my dream of owning my own business.
Sincerely, Stormi Lockridge
Barbie Dream House Scholarship
Firstly I want to thank you for taking the time to consider me for the scholarship. I would say my Barbie dream house would be located on the mountain side or by the river in St maries Idaho I want it to be on hundreds of acres of land so I can enjoy the nature all around. Along with it being in this location, it is my hometown and I love the scenic area and how wonderful the community is. The home would have a touch of modern day homes, but it would mostly look like a log home. I want my home to have more of The rustic theme that would go along with the woods and the nature. But it would also be a larger home for my dream family. Outside of my home I would have a large log barn so I can raise horses and chickens. I would also have a large log garage. Some features the inside of the home would have include; a double living room, a game room, theater room, and a big library / office. My Barbie dream home would be a three-story home, with at least eight bedrooms. With this scholarship it will help put towards my dreams of getting an education in Business administration. This way I can own my own business and make that money to own my Barbie dream home. Thank you again for taking the time to consider me for the scholarship.
Taylor Swift ‘1989’ Fan Scholarship
To whom it may concern,
Firstly, I want to thank you for taking the time to consider me for this scholarship. I am Stormi Lockridge, I was born and raised in north Idaho. I live with my mom and five pets. I plan on attending North Idaho College in the fall to pursue my dreams in own my own business. I would also like to open a few non-profit organizations to help people in any way I can. It was hard for me to choose which song was my favorite from the 1989 album, but if I had to choose one I would say Shake It Off. This is the one song out of this album that spoke to me and I understood the meaning of it. This is because it has such a deeper meaning to it rather than just a song. This song and the words to this song are meant to inspire people. I like this song because Taylor Swift is saying even if people are talking bad about you or saying mean things shake it all off and do not listen to them. It is your life and it is the life you want to live so do not allow other people to bring you down or alter you life in anyway. This song has definently helped me a lot, I used to take everything someone said about me and I would get hurt by it. However, this song has taught me not to let cruel words or people get to me or mess with my head. I really like this song because Taylor Swift wrote it because of the critics and she wanted to over come the fear and self doubt that has came about because of the critics. In a way I feel connected with this song because I had major anxiety and self doubt because of all the bullying I recieved when I was younger, and after listening to this song and really pulling out the lyrics I then knew that I do not need to let any of these issues get in my head and get in the way of me having a fun and good life. I listen to Shake It Off when I am having a rough day and I just need some self reasurence. This song has definantly heped me realize that I am not the only person going through issue just like this and I can lean on other for help.
Thank you again for taking the time to consider me for the Taylor Swift '1989' Scholarship.
I Can Do Anything Scholarship
My dream version of my future self would be to grow as a business owner, become a mother, be more involved in my community, and see myself grow as I help change the world.
Charles Pulling Sr. Memorial Scholarship
What makes me a non-traditional student is that I am a first generation college student, I am a graduating high school senior, and I am the child of a single parent. The person and thing that drives me to do more is my mom, she is the best friend anyone could ask for. She will do anything to help me even if we do not have money at the time. The thing that drives me more is my ambition to succeed. I want to be the fourth generation of women in my family to run and own her own business. My great grandmother really inspires me to do more, she was the first person in our family to immigrate to America from Spain, but before that she had to flee to the Philippines because of the war. Not knowing anything or anyone but her husband and children she worked hard to start up her own business and she became the best realestate agent in all of California. My love to help others is what drives me the most to do more.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me for the Charles Pulling Sr. Memorial Scholarship.

Youth Equine Service Scholarship
Firstly thank you for taking time to consider my application for this scholarship. I am Stormi Lockridge and I was born and raised in the small town of St.Maries. There is a little under 3,000 people, and so this scholarshipwould help me a great deal, since I do not have all the opportunities as people in bigger cities and states this will help a lot. I plan on graduating with my associates degree in business. I want to follow in the foot steps of three amazing women in my family who have opened and owned their own business. I want to make my family proud, only being the third generation to be born in America I want to show my family here and in other countries that we can do anything we set our minds to. My volunteer service has taught me so much about myself. As I was a little league softball coach I have taught these little girls so much, however, I feel they have taught me so much more. They have taught me to be more patient, and understanding, and to look at life differently. I never thought about looking at life differently. I always thought that the way you think and look at things was just how it was supposed to be. However, that was not the case we all think in so many different ways and it is amazing to see how our brains all function and they function in different ways. I learned that we are more individuals than I thought. I also learned that doing small volunteer services make a big difference. I learned that I am capable of doing anything I set my mind to. With that being said, I plan on opening my own businesses and a few non-profit organizations. I want my businesses and non-profit organization to help other people in so many ways. I want people to have the chance to get a job and better theirselves and their lives. I learned about myself that I am more important than I realised. Having major anxiety, I did not think I was able to do anything and I was really down on myself. However, with taking the steps to get out of my shell I also realized that I am stronger than I know, and that I can help people and they look up to me. I love that I can inspire people, but mostly children. These little girls come up to me in public giving me big hugs and it is a joy to see them so happy. I know in my heart that I have made an impact in their lives, but they have made an even bigger one in mine.
Thank you again for considering my application for the Youth Equine Service Scholarship

Bold Study Strategies Scholarship
I use a few different types of studying strategies to achieve academic success. The first way is to study with flashcards. I take all of my notes and I write them on flashcards and I study them a few weeks before the test. Another way I study for tests or anything academic is using quizlet. It is an online website that has flashcards, games, and practice tests that I use to help me achieve academic success. A few minutes before my tests or quizzes I look over the flashcards so they are freshly in my mind. These strategies really help me focus in and understand the question. Using the flashcards have helped me learn a lot more than just taking notes about a specific topic. When I make the flashcards I like to work with another classmate so we both get to study for the test and help each other to learn the terms or phrases better.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my application.
Michael Rudometkin Memorial Scholarship
I embody selflessness by getting out and helping my community any chance I can get. I have helped my community in so many was, and I plan on helping even more. I want my community to know that they can depend on me when ever they need. As I walk along the roads or in the woods I am always picking up trash and other types of garbage because I am not only helping my community I am also helping the animals and the nature. I really enjoy taking time out of my day to pick up even the smallest piece of trash because I know in the long run I will help the world no matter how small of steps they are. To me the selflessness is taking oneself out of the equation and only thinking of others and helping others even if the good deed was not for yourself or for money. I recall one time when I was doing a community clean up and an old lady came up to me and said "thank you for your help I rarely see teens helping out now-a-days." That made me think and helped me realize that I want to do a lot more for my community and so many others around me. I remember one time when I helped an old man in my town he had dropped his groceries and so I went over and helped him pick the groceries up and get them to his vehicle. Community service is not just clean or picking up trash, it is the simple things that is also community service. Anything you do to help someone without getting payed is community service. I take doing community service to heart, these people that I help I treat them as if they were my family, and you always want to help your family. Along with helping people I also consider the nature my home and I would not want my home to be destroyed with trash of all sorts, so I want to help the animals and get rid of all the garbage. I love my community and I would not change a thing that is why I am devoted to helping my community and the woods that surround me. Just the smallest act of kindness and being helpful will go a long way, It will make you feel good for the accomplishments and it will make the community happy that you took time out of your day to help.
Thank you for taking the time and looking at my application.
Bold Confidence Matters Scholarship
Confidence means to have courage and strength in yourself. It means to love yourself no matter the situation or the words of other people. Confidence is to believe in yourself. I have not always been so confident in myself I had low self-esteem and believed I could not do things like other people. However, I pushed myself to have confidence and I am glad to say I am proud of the young woman I have become and I am so proud of all the accomplishments I have made.
Thank you for considering me for the scholarship.
