When I graduate from West Virginia Wesleyan, and in ten years I plan to be a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and an art therapist working and having my own practice. I want to be working to make the lives of people affected by mental illness better and easier. I want to create a positive outlet for my patients through art and counseling. Peoples past traumas, disappointments and feelings need to be expressed. I am very passionate about alternative therapies and cultivating a greater understanding of the complexities of the human mind.
