I am passionate about helping others and expanding my own horizon. I am interested in going into politics or government, law, or being a PA. My dream job is to be on the Supreme Court, but as that is a bit far out there I would settle to be a run-of-the-mill judge. (That was a joke. it would be AMAZING to be just a “run of the mill” judge!) I enjoy playing soccer, reading and spending time with my friends and family in my free time. I am a proud Ashkenazi Jew and love participating in and giving back to my community. I am an active member of my Jewish community and school and I participate through being the editor in chief of my yearbook, being captain of the soccer team, being a part of the only all-girls ACE team in NY, and running the youth program at my synagogue.

Supergirl is an absolute boss. You can start by taking that with a grain of salt because to be fair I do call most female superheroes bosses, but hear me out.
When you hear superhero, you think Superman, it's just a reflex, he is the OG. Supergirl as a character and as a brand has been overshadowed by the Kansas farm boy despite being, in my opinion, a lot more powerful and compelling as a character.
I started loving supergirl when I watched her TV show staring Mellisa Benoist. I watched the character come to life and fight for hope help and compassion for all and became obsessed.
I was surprised supergirl was considered the inferior Kryptonian and frankly looked down upon, and as I grew indignant my feminism started to bloom.
Supergirl and her adverse fan reaction made me into a feminist and sparked a lifelong passion for equality.

I want to pursue higher education so that I am better equipped to help change the world for the better. I want to go into law in order to help people in need, specifically children. I want to advocate for kids who do not really have rights and help them achieve a better life. Eventually I want to go into politics in order to help effect change on a larger scale, and in order to improve my community and the world around me. I am preparing for my future by joining and participating in many clubs and teams relevant to the fields I am pursuing. I am an active member of my school's model Congress and debate clubs, and I am a leader in my community by being on my school's student government.
Through pursuing higher education in college I want to become more involved in the world around me by volunteering, getting internships in fields I am interested in, and generally expanding my horizons.
I want to pursue higher education to make me better equipped to change the world for the better and improve people's lives.

Spiders are scary. Tarantulas even more so. For someone with intense arachnophobia holding one seems like the scariest thing in the world, and believe me it is.
My classmates and I had fun playing with dogs and birds that were brought in for emotional support but eventually, they brought in a less adorable pet.
I don't know who thought it would be a good idea for a SPIDER to emotionally support students, but apparently, someone did. The handler came in and people freaked out. As scared as I was I decided to hold it, and I have never been prouder.
