Bio

Greetings! I am Shannon Dyson, a Visual Artist, Designer, and forward-thinking Entrepreneur deeply committed to the Wellness, Autoimmune, and Dynamic Disability Advocacy community. My life's path has been shaped by a profound passion for sustainability, integrative health, and health innovation, driven by personal health challenges with Lupus that led me to discontinue my education numerous times as well as financial hardships. With a rich background in Arts & Design, I blend creativity with analytical skills, offering a unique perspective that assesses various vantage points for balanced visual nuance and sound business decisions. Education is a lifelong commitment, and I am an adaptable life learner, always eager to attend workshops and enhance my career goals. My focus on Sustainability, Integrative Health, and Health Innovation enables me to create quality-oriented programs, aligned with my mission of eradicating health disparities for all. As a wellness and dynamic disability advocate, I am passionate about fostering an inclusive world where everyone can thrive. My dream job serves as a source of daily inspiration, fostering both personal and professional development while allowing me to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of others. Motivated to be my best self and utilize my skills to their fullest capacity, I am committed to not letting my dynamic disabilities, including Lupus, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Hemolytic Anemia, hinder my pursuit of personal and professional goals. With a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and concentrations in Sustainability, Integrative Health, and Health Innovation, along with dual education in Real Estate and aspirations for Medical School, my dream is to become an Entrepreneur creating a more inclusive health system. I aim to make integrative functional medicine accessible across all demographics, leveraging my background as an Educator, Health Coach, Artist, and Visual Designer. Anticipating a career trajectory that may not fit conventional molds, I prioritize qualities such as continued education, exceptional health benefits, pet-friendly policies, family planning options, sabbatical encouragement, professional development, educational reimbursement, unlimited sick days, wellness days, remote work, community-building initiatives, volunteer opportunities, pay increases, high moral standards, dedication to sustainability, and flexible scheduling. While my current studies in Interdisciplinary Studies: Sustainability, Integrative Health, Health Innovation, and Real Estate align with my broader goals, my dream job is one I envision creating, as it doesn't exist yet. I am open to diverse positions, such as a Sustainability Scientist, Integrative Health Specialist, Food Access Project Manager, or Naturopathic Doctor, given my interdisciplinary background. Sometimes, when no existing job aligns with one's vision, forging a unique path becomes necessary to create opportunities not just for oneself but for others on a similar journey. Envisioning myself as the CEO and Founder of a multidisciplinary think tank, I aim to integrate health innovation, functional integrative medicine, sustainability practices, food access and regenerative farming, and sustainable and affordable real estate. This dream job allows me to facilitate creative thinking and forge a new, accessible future. Despite facing significant obstacles in healthcare and inaccessible design, my goal is to remove these boundaries, integrating groundbreaking methods for accessing integrative healthcare and fostering sustainable, accessible communities. In this lifetime, I aspire to be a guide, undeterred by health challenges, and dedicated to serving others by removing barriers and contributing to a more inclusive and innovative future. In pursuing my dream job as the Founder and CEO of Accessible Health Futures, I envision a role that transcends conventional boundaries, integrating health innovation, sustainability practices, and accessible communities. This multidisciplinary endeavor reflects my commitment to fostering positive change and inclusivity in healthcare. I am eager to embark on this transformative journey, undeterred by health challenges, and dedicated to serving as a guide towards a future where innovative wellness is truly accessible to all.
