Greer Innovation, A Scholarship For Creatives
Creativity has always been a big part of my life. It's helped me think outside the box, find unique solutions, and express myself in different ways. Creativity has helped my open-mindedness and a sense of adventure in my relationships. It can foster deeper connections and shared experiences, as we explore new activities and ideas with others. As for my career aspirations, I believe creativity can bring innovation and fresh perspectives to any field, including my dream nursing career. It can open doors to endless possibilities. As a nurse, incorporating creativity into healthcare can lead to innovative approaches to patient care, problem-solving, and even research. I plan to make an innovative impact by finding creative ways to provide care, improve patient experiences, and improve the healthcare system. By thinking creatively, we can find new ways to improve patient outcomes and make a positive impact on the healthcare industry.
Regarding school, I went to Brown Deer High School and I think incorporating more creativity and innovation can increase engagement with learning. It can make education more exciting and interactive to individual interests and strengths. Creativity can have a great impact on various aspects of our lives. When it comes to education, infusing creativity and innovation into schools can make learning more engaging, enjoyable, and relevant to student's lives. It can spark curiosity and empower students to think creatively and critically. I
am a 17 year old black girl whose interest is to become a nurse and then soon open up my own private practice. I think that I can help others and make history due to the role models I have in my life. Ever since I was a little girl, visiting my sick grandmother in the hospital was always a bittersweet moment due to me seeing her suffer with all the pain she was in knowing that there wasn’t anything I could do but also seeing the nurses help her gain strength and her mobility back which got her back to herself. This encouraged me to follow down that path because I want to be the nurse that my patients remember, I want them to remember that I made their experience better and helped them see the brighter side of the situation just like how I viewed the nurse who helped my grandmother. So, by embracing creativity, we can truly make a difference in the world and inspire others to do the same.
