My goal is to become a physician-scientist who is not only able to capably treat patients but also be able to communicate with them. As a doctor and researcher, I can explore and make discoveries in the world of science while using what I find to help people. As someone with a multicultural background (I'm a Korean-American with a mother who grew up in Germany and a father who grew up in South Korea), I hope to connect not only with my patients but with others and learn about their stories as well as be able to communicate with them. In life, I hope to make many discoveries and interpersonal connections.
