Bio

Since I was a little kid I have always dreamed to be able to soar through the sky as a pilot. Throughout my life, I have been focused on one goal, and that goal is to be able to serve my country as a fighter pilot. As I began my high school career I joined the AFJROTC program. Over the years I have developed multiple leadership qualities that have allowed me to climb to the rank of Vice Wing Commander. Today I help lead an organization of over 170 cadets. Outside my military path I also joined the AICE program at Treasure Coast High School. AICE stands for Advanced International Certificate of Education given by Cambridge University. This program has also prepared me for college by giving me intensive work and tests. The program truly helped me see the entire world and its different problems. It has also helped me develop a mindset that will not only help me with my academics but with my life in general. As I senior who has always had the same dream his entire life, it shows how dedicated I am to achieving this goal. In college, I would like to pursue a major in Aerospace engineering and go on to pilot training. My ultimate goal would be to join the astronaut program and help the human race advance and become multi-planetary.

I believe my leadership characteristics inspire many other people to dream big and work harder. I have always been a busy and focused person and that has allowed me to develop qualities that many people don't have. I have had a clear focus on what I wanted to do in my life since I was a little kid. It has always been my dream to become a military pilot. This type of job requires many leadership qualities as well as sharp characteristics. I knew this was part of the job and since that point, I was focused on developing those qualities. I knew I needed these qualities because one day I would have to be leading other people and their lives would be in my hands. I lead by example by demonstrating integrity. I believe this is the most important thing because having integrity and honesty sets a standard for everyone to follow. It shows people the type of person I am as well as the type of leader. I also believe my strong work ethic demonstrates the type of mentality I have when I set my mind to a certain task. When a leader shows commitment and perseverance, it motivates the team to emulate these qualities. Ethical behavior inspires trust and respect among leaders and followers and this is how I believe I inspire others and how I want to inspire those I meet in the future. I still have a lot to learn but I believe that my mentality and my understanding of the importance of working as a team gives me the opportunity to create conditions that allow others to thrive and reach their full potential. "How big would you dream if you knew you couldn't fail? The only thing stopping us is ourselves. Take one step in the right direction and you're halfway there to making your dreams come true." This is a quote I heard on TikTok and it has stuck with me every day since. I have had a dream to become a military pilot since I was a little kid. That was my goal and it is still my goal. That quote stuck with me because getting to my goal is not an easy one. It is filled with many obstacles that I need to overcome before I can call myself a pilot. These obstacles are not the ones that could stop me from reaching that goal. The only thing stopping me is myself and that's how I connected with the quote. If we live in a world scared about failure then no one would make their dreams a reality. Taking that risk is why it feels amazing once you reach that finish line. Failure is an opportunity to learn and to do better. If you aren't failing then you aren't trying hard enough. Failure is part of the process and without failure, we can't reach our true potential and we will never be able to reach our goals. Success is earned so I believe you have to work as hard as you can to be successful.
