However, this path has had its hurdles, especially living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Despite these challenges, soccer has been a constant source of joy and resilience, shaping my character along the way.
Nursing, to me, is not just a career but a calling—a chance to be there for individuals during their most vulnerable moments. It fills me with a sense of purpose unlike anything else. Through managing my ADHD with perseverance and support, I've learned patience and resilience. The nursing industry has always captivated me as a career choice for several compelling reasons. Primarily, nursing represents a unique blend of science and compassion. It is a profession that demands not only a deep understanding of medical knowledge but also the ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care. This duality aligns perfectly with my interests and values, as I have always been passionate about both the sciences and helping others.
One of my primary goals for a successful career in nursing is to gain experience in many different areas of the field. By doing so, I aim to become a well-rounded nurse who can provide comprehensive care in various healthcare settings. This aspiration is driven by a desire to understand the diverse needs of patients and to be adaptable in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to the nursing field through continuous learning and by taking on leadership roles that allow me to influence healthcare policies and practices.
To date, I have made several personal accomplishments that have fortified my pursuit of these goals. Academically, I have excelled in courses related to biology and health sciences, consistently earning top grades. This strong academic foundation is crucial as I prepare for the rigorous demands of nursing education and practice. Additionally, I have taken the initiative to gain practical experience through various avenues.
One of my most significant accomplishments has been completing a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program, which provided me with hands-on experience in basic patient care. This training has equipped me with essential skills such as taking vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and understanding patient needs. During my CNA clinicals, I had the opportunity to work at the Walla Walla, WA Veteran’s Affairs Home. This experience was incredibly valuable, as it allowed me to work closely with veterans, learning to value and appreciate everything my patients had to offer in their lives. Their stories and resilience deeply impacted me and reinforced my commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
In addition to my CNA work, I volunteer at youth soccer camps, where I have the opportunity to mentor and support young athletes. Balancing this volunteer work with my responsibilities as a full-time college student and college athlete has been challenging but rewarding. Juggling these commitments has taught me time management, discipline, and the importance of prioritizing my goals. These experiences have also highlighted the importance of quality, caring healthcare for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Being a full-time student and athlete leaves little time for much else, but it has instilled in me a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. These qualities are indispensable in the nursing profession, where one must often juggle the demands of patient care, documentation, and ongoing education.
In conclusion, the nursing industry interests me as a career choice because it perfectly marries my passion for science with my desire to help others. My goals for a successful career include gaining experience in various areas of nursing, continuous professional development, and assuming leadership roles. My academic achievements, practical experiences as a CNA, and volunteer work at youth soccer camps have all contributed to my pursuit of these goals. I am excited about the prospect of making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families through a career in nursing.

Choosing a career in nursing wasn't a decision I made hastily. Initially, my sights were set on becoming a dermatologist, drawn by the prospect of diagnosing and treating skin conditions. However, as I delved deeper into my career exploration, I came to realize that nursing offered a unique opportunity to work intimately with patients, fostering meaningful connections and providing holistic care. This realization prompted a shift in my aspirations, leading me to embark on the path of nursing with a newfound sense of purpose and conviction.

Additionally, my exposure to healthcare environments and interactions with healthcare professionals played a pivotal role in shaping my career trajectory. Observing the dedication and empathy of nurses as they tended to the needs of patients left an indelible impression on me. Their ability to forge genuine connections, advocate for patients' rights, and provide comprehensive care underscored the multifaceted nature of nursing, captivating my interest and admiration.
Personal experiences with illness within my family further solidified my decision to pursue nursing. Witnessing the impact of skilled nursing care on my loved ones' well-being emphasized the pivotal role that nurses play in promoting healing and comfort. It was during these challenging times that I gained a deeper understanding of the holistic approach to healthcare that nurses embody, addressing not only physical ailments but also emotional and psychological needs.
Moreover, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has only strengthened my desire to become a nurse. Through my hands-on experience in direct patient care, I've developed a profound appreciation for the role of nurses in delivering compassionate and competent care. The opportunity to work closely with patients, assisting with their daily needs and witnessing their resilience in the face of adversity, has reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in nursing.

Nintendo Super Fan Scholarship
One of my top choices for co-op gaming on Nintendo has always been "Mario Kart." The thrill of racing around colorful tracks, dodging shells, and trying to outmaneuver friends or family members is endlessly fun. But one particular moment stands out, solidifying "Mario Kart" as my favorite for multiplayer mayhem.
It was a bright Saturday afternoon, and my cousins had come over for a gaming session. We fired up the Nintendo Switch, knowing "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" would lead to hours of competitive fun.
We started with a Grand Prix, each picking our favorite character. I chose Yoshi, my cousins went with Mario and Toad. Races were intense, with banana peels, red shells, and lightning bolts causing chaos.
But it was during Battle Mode that the most memorable moment unfolded. We chose Balloon Battle, a mode where you try to pop each other's balloons with items. Tension mounted as we raced around the arena, attacking and defending.
At one point, both cousins were chasing me, each armed with a red shell. I tried to dodge, but it seemed inevitable. Just as I thought it was over, the cousin in the lead fired his red shell... only for it to hit a stray Bob-omb from earlier.
The explosion was spectacular, taking out both cousins. In a split-second decision, I hit the boost, managing to pop both their balloons and secure victory.
The room exploded with cheers and groans, everyone laughing at the absurdity. That move, a mix of luck and strategy, cemented "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" as our go-to for co-op fun. These moments, filled with laughter and friendly rivalry, make gaming with friends and family special.
Joy Of Life Inspire’s AAA Scholarship
Facing the challenge of managing ADHD while navigating the demands of college was a significant hardship I encountered. It wasn't until the end of my freshman year that I received a diagnosis, which explained the difficulties I had experienced with organization, focus, and time management. This diagnosis, though late, became a turning point in my journey.
During my sophomore year, the demands of coursework, extracurricular activities, and maintaining a social life became increasingly overwhelming. As someone with undiagnosed ADHD, staying organized and focused had always been a struggle, and I found myself falling behind in assignments and feeling overwhelmed by the constant juggling act.
I reached a breaking point when I received a lower-than-expected grade on an important exam. The disappointment and frustration were palpable, and I knew I needed to make a change. Instead of letting this setback define me, I made the decision to seek help and take control of my situation.
First and foremost, I sought guidance from my professors and academic advisors. I opened up about my challenges with ADHD and asked for their advice on effective study strategies. Their support was invaluable, as they provided me with resources and accommodations that helped level the playing field. I also took advantage of tutoring services and joined study groups to stay on track with my coursework.
Moreover, I made a concerted effort to develop a routine that catered to my ADHD tendencies. I created daily schedules, breaking down tasks into smaller, manageable chunks. This not only helped me stay organized but also reduced feelings of overwhelm. I utilized apps and tools designed for individuals with ADHD to improve time management and productivity.
Additionally, I prioritized self-care and mindfulness practices. Regular exercise, adequate sleep, and meditation became non-negotiable parts of my routine. These practices helped me manage stress and improve my focus and attention span.
Through these changes, I gradually regained my confidence and began to excel academically once again. I learned that managing ADHD is an ongoing journey that requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to adapt. Instead of viewing ADHD as a limitation, I began to see it as a unique aspect of myself that could be harnessed for creativity and problem-solving.
In embodying Agape love, I strive to give back to my community in meaningful ways. Agape love, often described as unconditional love and compassion for others, is at the core of my actions and service to others. I believe in the power of empathy and kindness to make a positive impact on those around me.
In conclusion, overcoming the challenges of managing ADHD in college has taught me resilience, self-compassion, and the importance of seeking support. By embracing my unique traits and learning to manage my condition effectively, I have grown stronger and more capable. Through embodying Agape love, I give back to my community by volunteering, advocating for mental health awareness, mentoring others with ADHD, and sharing my story to inspire understanding and acceptance. My journey has shown me that hardships can be transformed into opportunities for growth and service to others.

WinnerI am choosing a career in nursing because of my deep-seated passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives. Nursing is more than just a profession to me; it is a calling that aligns perfectly with my values of compassion, empathy, and service to others. The opportunity to be there for individuals during their most vulnerable moments, to offer comfort and support, and to advocate for their well-being is what drives my desire to become a nurse.
From a young age, I have been drawn to the field of healthcare. I have always had a natural inclination to care for others, whether it was looking after younger siblings, volunteering at local community centers, or simply being a listening ear for friends in need. These experiences have nurtured my desire to pursue a career where I can have a meaningful and direct impact on the lives of those in need.
What specifically attracts me to pediatric nursing is the unique opportunity to work with children and their families during critical stages of their lives. Children are incredibly resilient, but they also require specialized care that takes into account their developmental needs and emotional well-being. As a pediatric nurse, I want to be a source of comfort and support for children facing illness or injury, helping them navigate their healthcare journey with compassion and understanding.
Pediatric nursing also appeals to me because it involves working closely with families. I believe that a child's health and well-being are deeply intertwined with their family's support system. By building trusting relationships with parents and caregivers, I can provide not only medical care to the child but also emotional support and guidance to the entire family unit. Being able to empower and educate parents about their child's condition and treatment plan is something I find incredibly rewarding.
Moreover, I am drawn to the diversity and challenges that pediatric nursing presents. Every day brings new and unique cases, requiring nurses to adapt, think critically, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide the best care possible. Whether it's administering medications, monitoring vital signs, or simply offering a comforting presence, pediatric nurses play a crucial role in the holistic care of young patients.

**Title:** "Galactic Mischief: A Star Wars Crossover"
**Shows:** "Star Wars Rebels" and "Phineas and Ferb"
**Plot:**
In a galaxy far, far away, the Rebel Alliance faces a new threat from the Galactic Empire. Meanwhile, on the peaceful planet of Danville, Phineas and Ferb are enjoying their summer vacation. Little do they know, their latest invention is about to launch them into an adventure beyond their wildest imaginations.
The episode opens with Phineas and Ferb working on a new gadget in their backyard. Candace, as usual, is determined to bust them, while their friends Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet eagerly await the big reveal. Suddenly, the ground beneath them begins to tremble as a mysterious portal opens up, pulling them into a vortex of swirling lights and colors.
They find themselves on the Ghost, the starship of the Rebel crew from "Star Wars Rebels." Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and Zeb Orrelios are baffled by the sudden appearance of these strange new visitors. Phineas, being his usual optimistic self, excitedly introduces themselves and their inventions to the Rebels.
Meanwhile, the Empire has detected the disturbance and dispatches an Inquisitor to investigate. The Rebels realize they must work together with these new friends to escape the Inquisitor's clutches and prevent the Empire from discovering their base.
Phineas and Ferb, along with their friends, quickly get to work, combining their creativity with the Rebels' expertise in stealth and combat. Isabella's Fireside Girl training proves surprisingly useful in navigating the ship's corridors, while Buford's strength comes in handy during a scuffle with stormtroopers.
As they race against time, Candace finds herself face-to-face with the Inquisitor. Unbeknownst to her, Perry the Platypus, who has been trailing them through the portal, springs into action to save her. A thrilling chase ensues, with Perry leading the Inquisitor on a wild pursuit through the ship's ventilation system.
In the meantime, Phineas and Ferb have devised a plan to create a diversion using one of their inventions, a giant inflatable bounce house. With the Rebels' help, they deploy the bounce house in the hangar, causing chaos among the stormtroopers and allowing the Rebels to make their escape.
Finally, with the Inquisitor hot on their heels, the combined efforts of the Rebels, Phineas, Ferb, and their friends lead to a climactic showdown. Sabine uses her artistic talents to create dazzling distractions, Kanan and Ezra engage in lightsaber duels, and Hera pilots the Ghost with precision maneuvers.
In the end, they manage to outwit the Inquisitor and escape to safety. Phineas and Ferb bid farewell to their new friends, promising to come back and visit sometime. As the Ghost disappears into hyperspace, Candace, finally getting her proof of Phineas and Ferb's adventures, snaps a picture just in time.
Back in Danville, as the portal closes behind them, Phineas and Ferb excitedly share their incredible story with their friends. Candace, still in disbelief, shows them the picture she took as evidence. The episode ends with a montage of the gang reminiscing about their intergalactic adventure, with Perry the Platypus giving a satisfied "chirp" as he relaxes in his secret agent lair.
"Galactic Mischief: A Star Wars Crossover" brings together the imaginative world of "Phineas and Ferb" with the epic saga of "Star Wars Rebels." It combines the humor and creativity of Phineas and Ferb's inventions with the action-packed adventures of the Rebel Alliance.
