I have not always wanted to be an illustrator, I used to have no idea what I wanted to do. Until one of my biggest inspiration’s passed away and then I realised that she would have wanted me to pursue my passion for the arts. I would love to go into concept art specifically for games and even more specifically character design. I’m extremely driven to finish whatever I’ve started and once I have set my mind onto something I have to do it.

I plan to make a positive impact on the world through my art by creating characters that invoke emotion in the viewer. I love to create characters with interesting backgrounds and storylines that connect. Having them connect is also important to me because even though their backgrounds differ they can understand and empathise with each other. Their human connection is what makes them unique.
Having such diverse personalities and backgrounds also makes viewers of my work connect with the characters themselves and in some way relate to them as well. And if the viewer can't directly relate to a particular character they can empathise with their experience albeit fictional. Having people understand their differences in characters can show them that they can understand others in their own lives as well.
Making people connect with each other on a deeper level is important to me in the creation of my work. And knowing that I can have an impact on the rest of someone's life is what matters most to me.
