Bio

I am a high school senior interested in studying psychology, therapy, and health sciences! I am an active member of my school's Psychology Honor Society and National Honor Society. I am dual-enrolled at an in-state university to earn undergraduate credits while finishing high school. I have received the Super Honor Roll for every semester of high school, the Congressional Award Gold Medal, and the Spanish Composition Contest Level 4 Certificate, the National Spanish Exam Level 4 Silver Medal. I am also a motivated leader who enjoys working with children and has experience in serving others. Being goal-oriented and reliable, I always strive to do my best and help others succeed. I cherish spending quality time with my family and friends. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds! In the future, I would love to start my own private practice for physical, occupational, or ABA therapy and provide beneficial therapy services to under-resourced communities where people cannot afford them. My Linkedin profile is: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sabrinayeh1 One day, I hope to fulfill my mission of pursuing my passion without financial obstacles. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile!

Make sure you take frequent breaks when you study to avoid burnout! The pomodoro method is a good method where students study for 25 minutes and take a quick five minute break. After four pomodoro rounds, you can take a longer break of 15 to 20 minutes to maximize productivity. This method helped me avoid procrastination and get more work done.

Teamwork is the greatest challenge that people in the world face today. This is because team members can have conflicting opinions, different goals, a lack of commitment/effort, difficulty making decisions, insufficient trust and transparency, poor management, and smaller groups within a big group. One example is the health precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic where a central government orders a mandate that is not followed by local governments. People need the right attitudes and purposes to successfully work together. This urgent problem can be solved through better communication between groups of people as well as individuals. In today's case, local governments should express their opinions and concerns to other officials regarding mask mandates.
