I have learned many things from tennis, even though I just started playing last year. The three main things I have learned from tennis are: leadership, teamwork, and never giving up. I learned leadership by taking charge and being the captain of my mixed doubles team. I also helped coach the middle school tennis team and helped them get better, to be ready for high school. But with being a leader you take on several new responsibilities such as keeping your team's morale up and making sure everyone is doing their best and on their best behavior. I also help out the people in high school I will tell them how to fix where they messed up and what they should do to get better. Teamwork is another thing I learned from tennis you and your partner will not be good if the two of you can not work together. Teamwork has taught me communication, social skills and staying calm under very much pressure. My partner and I work together really well and that is what helped us get to regionals last year and hopefully, we can make it to state this year. Never give up, no matter how much you are down in a match you can always come back. I still remember my and my teammates' first tennis match. It was the first to 8 win by 2 only 1 set. Me and my teammate were down 7-0 and were about to lose then I called a timeout and told her ¨Hey we can win this they are getting tired do not give up yet just calm down.¨ We then went on to win the game 9-7 and get 2nd place in the tournament. Never giving up can help you later in life and it is something that everyone should believe in. Tennis also helps me stay in shape running back and forth hitting the ball for hours playing until I win a game and building buildingmina. It has also made me more determined to do and try my hardest at the things I love out of all the other extracurricular activities I do. Tennis is by far my favorite and the one I have the most fun doing. I can not wait for the tennis season to start and I get to play in games again. Tennis is one of my favorite things to do and makes me happy.

Hi, my name is Ryan Kariainen. I want to become a high school teacher in Agriculture, and teach kids about animals and the love for them I found. I also want to teach them welding and building things so that later in life they can fix things or even have a job in fixing and building things. I especially want to help the kids that show livestock; that is my passion. I fell in love with showing animals and have been doing it since a young age and think it is a good way to make kids more responsible and respectable. It is also a good way for them to get scholarship money for college. There are also building and welding competitions that can get kids scholarships which I can help them with. I want to be a teacher to make sure kids get to do what they want, to be successful later in life, and have a job they love.
I want to be an Agricultural teacher that kids love and can trust, like my role model Blake Barbee. She is the reason I want to be an Agricultural teacher and teach kids the things she taught me to be better in life. She has helped me find my love for animals and be a more responsible and respectful kid. She helped everyone that had her class, or needed her in general, and did everything for our stock shows, FFA, and competitions by herself, being the only agricultural teacher at my school.
I want to make sure all kids involved in Agriculture love the class and want to pursue something from the class later in life or use the skills they learn on an everyday basis. I plan to influence kids to be better with the skills they learn and maybe they will pass down the information I taught them to other kids or their own kids. I also want kids to be able to be creative in my class and build or weld what they want. I will also be giving them things to build as projects, and they will build things to help out the school. I think I would be a great candidate because I wanna help kids be better in life and teach them skills they will use in the Agricultural world, but also make sure they love what they end up doing in life.
