The Person who has been my greatest "driving force" in my life is no other than Jesus Christ Himself because He has been my Caretaker even since I have been struggling in my life. To begin, after accepting Jesus in my life, I have faced numerous challenges that were often very difficult to conquer. So on and so forth, I have concluded how I can manage this myself. Throughout this struggle, I have tried to help myself and fix certain problems, but that left me with no hope or expectation. Every day, I tried to do my best; again, it just resulted in despair and an unnecessary burden that overwhelmed me. As I continuously tried to seek validation, I was just left with discouragement and problems from people who did not have the same beliefs as me. Pressured by the circumstances, I gave up. Just so I realized, I began searching online to become a better person. Eventually, I stumbled upon numerous videos that contained biblical stories that somehow aligned with whatever I was facing through in life; unfortunately, those situations were too personal to be mentioned. Then, I read a book from the Bible, particularly the Book of Job which explains how this person named Job faced through, similar to mine, with heartfelt prayers and faith. Afterward, I began reading this verse that says, "Though he slays me, yet will I hope in him" (Job 13:15). This emphasizes that regardless of the hardships I faced, I can still rely on the fact that Jesus Christ, God, will inevitably carry me through this. Additionally, as I read another book of the Bible, the Book of Psalms, I stumbled upon this verse that says, "Even when I walk through the darkest valleys, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me" (Psalm 23). Despite the challenges and darkness I go through in life, the Lord will always keep me safe and joyful in times of distress and discomfort while also providing me with hope and satisfaction. Lastly, one of the most compelling verses I have read is: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). This not only helped my walk with the Lord but also illustrates how His Power and Love can drive out uncertainties in life. This has further pushed me to become the person that I am today. Therefore, Jesus Christ, the true Living God, has significantly been my greatest Motivator, Helper, Father, and any other title that He deserves in my life. Likewise, He can also be your greatest driving force by believing in Him and trusting that He will do it for you.
