I have been exposed to aviation throughout my life. My earliest memory is sitting in the cockpit of a Cessna 172 that my grandfather would buy. From then on, I was brought to airshows and flew to Montana thrice a year. That is where the aviation bug started for me. From then on, I attended about one to three airshows a year. During my sophomore year of high school, I joined an aviation class where Pual Beineke was my instructor and eventually my mentor to get me started in my training. If I did well enough in the class, I would have the opportunity to take the FAA written for the PPL or get my drone operator certificate. Throughout the following summer, I studied to take the written test and eventually passed with a 78%. I went to Ballou Skies Aviation in Bucyrus, Ohio, where Peg Ballou taught me how to fly. On June 22, 2022, I passed my Private Pilot checkride; the following fall, I started to attend BGSU and further, my career to become an airline pilot. Tomorrow, June 30, 2024, I am taking my Instrument checkride.
