Hello, thanks for stopping by my profile! I'm a current college student, with only 2 semesters left. I am dedicated to my studies, having maintained a 3.0 GPA at a college level. As an actively involved Student Activity Advisory Member, I am passionate about promoting events on my campus.
Being a board member has been a learning experience to me, since I collaborate amongst peers and faculty. I volunteer to lead and plan a variety of events, which all students at my campus have the opportunity to attend. My favorite events I've been involved with have included running craft nights, which allows me to share a personal hobby with fellow students. Running these events has allowed me to create a safe environment for those in attendance, fostering a sense of community.
My academic goal is to graduate with an associate's degree of Business and Entrepreneurship in May of 2025. I strive to inspire and support others in their academic and personal growth. As I advance in my career, I look forward to making positive contributions in my community.

Fostering a sense of belonging and community can improve the college experience. While some students only discuss this issue, I have taken proactive steps to create positive change at my college. Being a part of the Student Activity Advisory Board has allowed me to involve students at my campus and make them feel welcome. Throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, I was in charge of organizing events that gave students a place to socialize and interact with others.
One particular section of my responsibilities I’d like to highlight is the series of pancake servings that I co-led with another board member. Faculty, students, and guests on campus received 2 free pancakes with topping options for these. My collaborator and I prepared the materials, set up the venue, and personally cooked pancakes for attendees. These events drew a crowd of at least 80 people each time and were met with incredibly positive feedback. While working on this event, I got to see the appreciation of my community and experience my student body coming together. When I was working the event, the gratitude of my fellow students was extremely moving.
In the future, I will positively impact the world by leading with an open heart and mind. In my first year at a community college, I learned you never truly know someone's full story just by looking at them. I aspire to treat others with respect and kindness so that they will feel included in their environment. Even if this seems like a small task, positively affecting 1 person a day for ten years will mean I have affected 3,650 people. I aspire to live in a world where kindness is not just appreciated, but actively encouraged among people and I'm willing to put the work in to make that a reality.
Throughout this academic year, I aim to mentor others at my college looking to make positive changes in our community. By sharing my knowledge with others at my college I hope to promote a culture of inclusion and respect on our campus. I am going to be serving on the board and working to run events at my campus.
To wrap up I aspire to be a well-rounded person who gives back to the world around me during my last year of college and after graduating. Serving my community gives me fulfillment and I couldn't have had the college experience I've had without being on the board.
