As a first-generation Hispanic student, I am a two-job working undergraduate obtaining higher education. Since I was young, my goal has been to help everyone in my community. My life goal is to work for an M.D. in pediatrics. It was heavily encouraged by my ovarian cyst surgery experience. Which taught me doctors are all about providing quality care. Along with genuine compassion, respect, and empathy. Going into the medical field is laborious and requires several credits, yet I still want to pursue this. I want to pick this goal because I have a passionate calling to help individuals. Likewise, a pediatrician would suggest that I would have to esteem working with young people. I have worked with kids in jobs before from various grades and enjoy their company.
I participated in multiple clubs and programs like HOSA, Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (M.A.P.S), Youth Transition to Work (YTTW) program to become a Certified Nurse Assistance (CNA), and Rutgers Mini-Med Program. As well as taking challenging core classes, my goal is to freely express my passion and to encourage others to do the same.
When I uptake my medical career, I want to help the many countries that do not have that availability compared to the U.S.A. I also want to own an office of pediatrics. I believe everybody deserves medical attention despite their financial status. Applying for scholarships is the best way to get to my goal. I have set goals to make this journey worth it. I want to make my family proud. Most importantly, I want to make myself proud.

Stand and Yell Community Impact Scholarship
I've volunteered in a variety of settings and met a diverse range of people. I volunteered at HOSA, Clara Mass Hospital, Kearny Community Garden, REACH club, SAVE club, and church. Much of what I do is motivated by my desire to express myself freely and to encourage others to do the same. I met a lot of people who were trying to get back on their feet after being injured when I volunteered as a student in Medical II class at Clara Mass Hospital. The majority of my volunteer time was spent interacting with others. They all come from different backgrounds and situations. The Holy Cross Food Pantry in Harrison, NJ, on the other hand, is one of the most meaningful volunteer experiences I've ever had. It is my responsibility to first write down the amount of food that our providers provide us with and then look for a location to distribute it. Following that, we deliver hot or cold meals to people in desperate need. I volunteer once a week and have the pleasure of assisting a large number of people. Many of the people who come for meals are struggling to make ends meet, and I am able to put a big smile on their faces by doing so. The gratitude I receive from them is nothing in comparison to the joy I experience when I see them with a full stomach. I would encounter many different types of family sizes. I can relieve some of their stress by presenting them with lunch. They may now focus on obtaining a career and a solid method to support themselves and their families rather than worrying about food. When you volunteer at a location like this, you're giving hope more than just food; you're giving them a new outlook on life and a new route to renewed enthusiasm. Something I also want to achieve when I’m volunteering in acts like these.
Bold Science Matters Scholarship
Math and science are intertwined in many ways. With time, mathematics has expanded to include several disciplines such as calculus, algebra, trigonometry, and others, a situation that would not have been conceivable without the discovery of numbers, measurements, and simple arithmetic. This advancement contributes to scientific advancements. Newton’s Role in the Scientific Revolution the story of Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree is well-known, we know that an apple falls on his head, and he discovers gravity. Well, this tale is a bit of simplification, but it is loosely based on actual events. Due to his many contributions, Newton is considered one of the best scientists who have ever lived. He specialized in physics. His main concerns were issues of matter and motion. Discovery of Gravity. Seeing his potential through science was such an inspiration.
Newton also discovered that the moon would fly off away from Earth in a straight-line tangent to its orbit if some force was not causing it to fall toward the Earth. And a moon is only an object orbiting around the earth under the effect of gravity. Newton called this force “gravity” and determined that gravitational forces exist between all objects. Through this, he formulated the universal law of gravitation. Newton’s law of gravitation plays a key role in physics for two reasons: First, his work showed that the laws of physics apply to all objects. Second, the law provides us with an equation to calculate and understand the motion of a wide variety of celestial objects.
Without the discovery of numbers, measurements, and simple arithmetic, scientific discoveries such as algebra, trigonometry, and calculus would not have been conceivable.

1) I deserve this scholarship because I'm smarter than a 5th grader
2) My career goal is to find a rich man to spend all their money
3) When I decided to almost die at kindergarten because of a girl who shoved a Lego inside my throat.
Bold Growth Mindset Scholarship
To improve my growth mindset I had to create a system to help me deal with the feelings of insecurity that stifle my growth. For example, when I have to give a presentation in front of an audience, I frequently feel nervous. This causes me to stutter and lose my breath a lot. To deal with my insecurity about my self-image in the eyes of others, I reframe the issue. Instead of focusing on how bad I feel in the moment, I think about how good I'll feel after it's over. I intend to give it my all for the presentation, but then give myself the alone time that I deserve. As a result, I work harder in pursuit of that warm feeling that I made myself.
I structure my presentation in such a way that it allows me to explain it very fluently. Every time I give a presentation, I allow myself to take deep breaths between each sentence. I'm also reminding myself that after this, I'll have time to relax and perhaps read a book to myself. This way, I avoid emotional exhaustion while also communicating with the audience. In addition, before I begin working, I make a point of writing down detailed goals as well as specifics. This way, I know exactly what I'm going to say.
With all this in mind, it helped me get into positions in school and programs I thought I could never get into. I got to speak out loud letting people hear my voice that was hidden. Getting an educational network everywhere I go. It not only improved my self-esteem but also others' mental health. A program I'm in that currently I speak out loud for younger girls is called "Empower you" which is a way to show my mindset development.
Bold Driven Scholarship
A goal without a strategy is nothing more than a dream. I've known what I wanted to do with my life for as long as I can remember. I want to be a pediatrician, a doctor who specializes in the treatment of infants and babies. As a result, I've been working hard to achieve my objectives. I've taken medical lessons in high school and helped at the Clara Mass Hospital. During the summer, I worked as a teacher's aide in an elementary school for children with impairments. I was recently accepted into the YTTW program, which would prepare me to work as a certified nurse assistant. My long-term goal is to earn a bachelor's degree in biomedical science, which will enable me to pursue a medical profession as a doctor. My professional ambition, on the other hand, is to one day be able to give inexpensive care to one of society's most disadvantaged populations. Children have the same rights as adults, so I'd like to concentrate on them. Children have special rights as a vulnerable group that recognizes their unique needs for protection while also assisting them in reaching their full potential. Children should enjoy the fundamental aspects of life as rights rather than privileges. I believe it is because of the youthful disposition that I get along so well with them they keep wanting to be around me. The support of my parents also opened up new doors for me. In the end, I want to offer them everything I can and be proud of who I've become. I appreciate your consideration. I hope you choose to help assist me in pursuing my dream career.

Since freshman year the medical field inspired me, how surgeons' procedures are done and different equipment used. I loved the idea of being able to help someone's life. Soon it became my true dream wish. My dream was influenced by my surgery that took place when I was a freshman in high school. But have you ever asked them how they noticed they needed it, how terrified they might have been when they heard about surgery? You might have questioned yourself on how it feels during it. I will be telling you about my experience with surgery and how it influenced my dream of becoming a surgeon. My surgery was about an ovarian cyst. I remember the feeling of being scared about it minutes before. But when the procedure was done, I felt so relieved and so free. I realized at that moment how important a surgeon is to people. Many individuals fantasize about turning into a specialist and saving lives, however, I picked this career because I need to help individuals, and I don't care to see individuals languishing. To be ready to welcome the patients and make choices about the great medication for their wellbeing. I've been volunteering in a medical center to pursue this dream and working in a medical office. I love the environment around it and I can see myself as a surgeon in the future. Not only for the title of being one but for the title of being someone that helped people around the world.
Bold Deep Thinking Scholarship
The biggest problem facing the world currently is the outbreak of (COVID-19). The pandemic was such a difficult time for everyone, causing pain and turmoil. It was awful and brought so much devastation to the world as a whole. This pandemic brought changes in work, roles, and social relations, with significant implications for mental health and wellbeing. Hurting any age, with their virtual learning and isolation of friends and families. It has exposed new vulnerabilities not addressed by our health and benefits systems. With so much in flux, we need to work out what the new social contract will be. Also affecting people, jobs, many becoming jobless because of Covid, food supplies were at risk.
The best way to prevent the illness is to avoid exposition to the virus. Wearing masks, getting vaccinated to protect the ones we love especially our elders. Elders are at the most risk of it, last year, my grandparents died of Covid. Insinuating why people need to know not to take this lightly. The misleading information needs to be gone to the public eye. It is not safe having misinformation to people, because then they won't understand the requirements to let this pandemic leave. Finally, to help our community when outbursts like these happen. Helping each other overcome it, is the only way we pass this pandemic. An example we should take from this pandemic is that legislatures need to comprehend the benefit of conceding to numerous logical points of view.

Numerous history specialists impacted and made individuals think contrastingly now. An individual I admire from history is Anne Frank. Finding out with regards to Anne Frank has made me learn in numerous ways. Anne Frank is known for her journal she composed while her family was stowing away from the Nazis during WWII. She wrote about her feelings while she was hiding.
She kept her exceptional soul in her journal and was expecting an adjustment to the world. Anne Frank is a legend because of how she remained roused and confident all through the hard times. By writing her diary she wanted to feel like she was talking about events of her life with her friends. Making me imagine her life and transmit me into her world. How the reader feels trapped and scared, but always not alone.
By the writing, I have discovered that there's only one life and that you need to realize how to cherish it to the fullest because it can be taken away when you least expect it. Anne Frank is a hero because through her strength she grew from a little girl into a young woman while she was hiding for two years. Keeping her thoughts in her journal gave her a great deal of inspiration and mindfulness. With her hopeful mind that everything will turn out better once the War is over, she stayed positive and self-confident. Anne is an extraordinary motivation since her journal shows how smart she is. Her journal shows what she was going through, her apprehensions, and her expectations. Anne Frank's solidarity, inspiration, and motivation make me and millions of people admire her in every aspect.
Bold Learning and Changing Scholarship
There are many lessons we go learning when we get older. Seeing our parents make mistakes, our friends or even our own. One thing I learned was the famous one, running away from our problems. Indeed, believe it or not, when we need to flee from our concerns, or you see others fleeing from issues, disregarding their concerns one form or another, there is a fear. Something of some kind that is keeping us from dealing with it. We may think that running away from problems will allow us to leave all those problems behind. In any case, you know where it counts that this is genuinely not the situation. We are actually in the grips of fear, and as human beings, when we get scared or cornered, we feel like running away. I learned that when I wanted to run away from relationship problems. Thinking overlooking them would improve things yet as a general rule, it just let it behind my head for a short period and then came back attacking the person the next day. To resolve a problem there is always a communication hold. No communication no relationship. That is why I believe learning how to not run away from problems can change a perspective of oneself, making life more understanding and knowing how to resolve problems for the real world.
Bold Memories Scholarship
Our live encounters whether horrendous or blissful shape who we are over time. Have you ever had an event or experience that has changed your life? An experience that has defined the person I am today is my journey through moving to a different town. It showed me how to make the following stride and has made me an autonomous, capable, circumspect, agreeable individual. After hearing about all this change, you might wonder how I could be thankful for this part of my life. I ask myself that too now and then, yet I understood that my life would be diverse without moving and there is no assurance it would be any better. I learned how to adjust to new situations and how to be comfortable with being alone. Sure it was hard when my old friends got left behind but it felt like a new beginning. I discovered that making companions is long-lasting expertise and what a genuine companion is. I was the new child and at whatever point I see somebody who is modest or feels awkward or is making that next stride, I sit with them and assure them that they have a person who understands. The girl who never moved may have been too shy to do that. I’m thankful she didn’t grow up to be that girl because she was meant to be somebody different in a much better way. That is the reason I'm always grateful for what the move meant for my life and who I'm today.
Bold Optimist Scholarship
We've all gotten the good-natured guidance to "stay positive. The real obstacle to positivity is that our brains are hard-wired to look for and focus on threats. Keeping a positive attitude isn’t just good for your health. It is good for people around you as well. I stayed optimistic by thinking more positively than negatively. Realizing how thinking negatively is not a solution to my problems. Causing stress and showing it around people I love. One obstacle that caused me to realize was when my grades weren't the best in school. At the time I was taking AP government and politics, I never really liked the course of history but I took it anyways in the hope it taught me to love it. I worked hard always but never got a good grade. It made me seem hopeless and lots of stress was on my plate with work and other clubs. But despite all my troubles, I studied even more pushing myself to my limits, and never gave up. Started to go to the help period and focus on that subject more and go in-depth with how I answer things. It helped me get my confidence back and the environment in my house became better each time I never gave up. That's why I think staying optimistic is needed for any aspect of life. It's a way to show to the world I got this even though you will step on me every time. You have to show strength in everything you do and didn't think you can do.
Bold Love Yourself Scholarship
A lot of people tend to disregard and avoid their best qualities when loving themselves. Some take more than others to love themselves. But for me it's different. I learned how to love myself through the act of helping people and myself. I cherish and acknowledge myself so I can move towards knowing myself in the most genuine and unpretentious manner I can. And so I can look for solutions with hope and bravery for each one of my difficulties if it’s even possible. And if it’s not, I accept the infinite possibilities that life wants to present to me. By loving myself, I’ve learned to see crises and problems as opportunities and not as setbacks. I see what occurs around me, My opinion and belief, and I find the illustrations it contains, considering myself answerable for it. By loving myself I get to love others around me in a healthy way. Especially to teach others how to value themselves differently. I love myself because I get to volunteer in my community and do so many activities that I even thought weren't possible. I love myself because I know I'll never give up on my dreams to succeed because of difficult times. These are some reasons why I love myself in every aspect.

Bold Great Books Scholarship
A book can be a best friend we all can have. A book is a friend that is always there for you. It is difficult to underestimate the role of books in our life as they teach, inspire, motivate us, as well as allow to learn more about the surrounding world. A good book I choose was "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin. A woman named Edna is the most unique character in the book. Her refusal to abide by society's restrictions is what sets her apart from most. She is willing to do whatever it takes to be happy. Through Edna, Chopin can express her feelings on society and feminism.
Edna’s story is laden with symbolism. The sea is the main image in the book. It variously addresses immersion, purifying, and resurrection. In The Awakening, Kate Chopin constructs the sea as a space of freedom—a space outside and away from a patriarchal society. For Edna, the ocean fills in as a wellspring of strengthening and a safe place. In the beginning, it entices her with its “seductive odor” and “sonorous murmur.” Its entreaties are loving but imperative.
Wonderfully composed, thoroughly examined, and complete. There is something wonderful about a book written by a woman, about women's issues, in the time she is actually from. I love historical fiction however, I regularly sense that even the best essayists of today might not catch the considerations and encounters of an individual from an earlier time. It's in the little details, the natural way of speaking, the little daily patterns of living that don't exist anymore because technology has changed so much. This isn't a long book, or difficult to read, but the story of the awakening of Mrs. Pontellier will stay with me for a long time.
3Wishes Women’s Empowerment Scholarship
You may be wondering why it is needed to empower women in the first place. Gender equity is, first and most important, a civil right. Growing up my mom always taught me how to be independent. My mother is a very strong woman who was born in Peru. Who had to leave her own home and family to the United States. She did this to pursue a better life for her future children and herself. It was hard not knowing the language and people knocking you down for it. Considering she was a Hispanic woman. But my mother never gave up and became a woman who knew how to combat any obstacles she faced.
Women should live in uniformity and independence from want and dread strengthening is likewise a significant asset for encouraging development and destitution decrease. Empowered women add to the well-being, prosperity, and opportunities of the next generation of entire families and communities. In any case, the most pervasive kind of teaching is still sexism against ladies and young ladies like gender-based harassment, economic disparity, differences in reproductive health outdated cultural traditions. During and after compassionate emergencies, specially outfitted struggles, women are confronting gigantic difficulties. Because of the way the other weak classes fail to keep a grip on foundational factors, the progressive base of women's liberation might be criminal.
The concept of liberation arose from the field of social work and, in particular, from the protection of mainstream education to promote collective awareness within marginalized communities. Authorization as a concept and a political goal was soon picked up in revolutionary rhetoric and linked to various campaigns for liberation.
Women are considered to be important contributors to the economy of their country, however, in some areas of developing nations, they are still regarded as second-class citizens. Sustainable economic development is impossible without women's equality, and gender equity policies are the motivating force behind social change and economic growth. Working women make significant contributions to education, fitness, and wellness. It's been around longer than you think Rosie the Riveter was one of the most famous propaganda posters.
During World War Two a lot of empowerment happened. Men were constantly being sent to war. Women that did the jobs men did were successful at the jobs. These jobs included, taxi drivers, streetcar drivers, operated heavy construction machinery, worked in lumber mills, steel mills, unloaded freight, built dirigibles, made munitions, and much more. Women were paid more and were able to step up. There was a shortage of manpower for jobs that women did not do. Propaganda was out encouraging women to step up to those jobs. After the men returned from war, the women were supposed to give up their jobs. That's why Women empowerment programs are important to break free from traditional gender stereotypes and positions.
