The biggest influence in my life has been Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson has shown the public not to fear going after accolades that may alter the opinion of others view on success. He showed countless efforts to unify people and not dismember the public. Outside individuals have influenced him to put his views outside of music which he did with his creation of Neverland. Inviting those to view his lifestyle. Mixed opinions stemmed toward the end of his life. At the end of the day. Michael Jackson will always be my hero and help me look at the "man in the mirror". Everyday he reminds me there is hope. I have inserted music I have created for peaceful meditating states. Meditation is something I practice daily.
Faith and Tech Scholarship
Faith to me is having belief in a power greater than yourself. All though the human realm is possible of unlimited possibilities. Having faith allows you to believe. Being able to believe allows you to open your mind to dreaming. Having anything be possible is a fascination of mine. I aspire to open my own medical billing company and raise money in my company to provide scholarships to those seeking mental health and substance abuse treatment for that is an epidemic halting the advance of our countries ranking in academics I believe. I am working on a script for a YouTube channel called "Hobbits & Neanderthals". Similar to Comedy Central on how they mock politics. I would like to start a channel that helps allocate votes to those in favor of our country. I have included a page to my SoundCloud as well. I like to make beats part of meditating and pursuing a passion for production.

Stephen Hawkins is my favorite scientist ever. I aspire to go to University of Cambridge as he did. Possibly earning a Doctorate in Business Admin as I work on my bachelors degree from Saint Leo University. I have a passion in education. Pursuing a political science degree would be amazing. My doctorate is my goal. Whether it be in Business, Philosophy or Political Science I would be happy. As well as earning my certifications from AAPC as I am a full time student at Bryant & Stratton University. Thank you for reading my submission.
Always,

AMPLIFY Chess Masters Scholarship
Chess is a form of art in many ways. In 7th grade, I was averaging a 103.00 in math due to extra credit. My teacher I will always remember Mr.Blackburn held the annual Western Hills Chess Tournament. I was never taught chess. He helped me learn by entering the tournament. I ended up winning, a lot of people called it luck. I won the final game in a 3-step move that I did not know so it was by all means luck. But was it? I was trusting my instinct. Critical thinking for sure. I believe Chess has ways of showing us how to live and think critically more than we presently know. In China there is a game that is well honored by the name of "Go". Created by emperor's over 3,000 years ago. There are more moves in "Go" than atoms in the world. That sentence holds more weight to me than I could ever imagine. Living in a world where nothing seems impossible anymore. Chess has shown me ways to be appreciative of the simple things in life. I would love the use this money to donate to chess leagues as well help me be able to afford transportation after entering a chess league as I have recently been researching such events. My wife was taking a class by the name of "Critical Thinking: The Tao of Chess", a class at New England Tech. I helped her learn chess and might have helped her type a report for the class. I was honored by the feedback my wife received from her instructor/professor. He said, "Out of all my years teaching, this is the most well-written paper I have received at NEIT. I was honored with his feedback. I feel that more neighborhoods should have chess tables on the sidewalks as well in local parks and such. I know that New York City has them. For it is imposing ways of critically thinking that will move our nation towards more greatness. Chess is a way for people to put their differences and opinions aside and simply focus on the challenging game that has so many aspects of winning or losing that play into affect off the outcome of the game. Psychological warfare is a tactic prestigious players use. Never breaking the consistency of the form of playing. Conceptualizing the tactics you will use to your advantage based of the player you are playing is a form of tactics as well. There are many forms of playing chess. I was beyond excited to apply for this scholarship and hope to be nominated for my first scholarship ever as I am a young adult in his late 20's pursuing an education that I will be persistent on earning until earned. I have substantial academic goals for my future, aspiring to be an entrepreneur as well as hoping to be able to make a way in the world of politics. Thank you for my opportunity to participate in such an amazing scholarship.
Bubba Wallace Live to Be Different Scholarship
Throughout my whole life I've been faced with adversity. In a variety of ways. Growing up in somewhat a low suburban neighborhood. I never wanted to stand out amongst my peers, more so; simply fit in. Systematic failure is a bit of adversity every city and state deals with. Growing up in the smallest state of Rhode Island, you somewhat know everyone, or at least everyone has heard of it. Always being shunned by my elders and such for my choice of friends. I never allowed judgement to rule my choice of character. For everyone should be accepted equally. I have a tough time applying to scholarships lately more than before. Seeing that it seems apparent that being caucasian is almost like being an immigrant in the 1900s. I feel as if the focus has been shifted to bring about racism to our younger generation. Political views I have many, as well as beliefs. I truly believe we are all created equal. Chances and luck all depend on perspective. In a time where we just got through COVID-19, barely. I feel as if we need to stop putting all these titles on such instances. There is no need to label scholarships, "Black Lives Only Scholarship". For I am writing in this manner, for I know Bubba Wallace is a man of integrity and rigorous honesty. Honesty is what will bring our nation together. Getting around the awkward bitterness of what is present. My goal is to finish my bachelors and masters in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business along with obtaining a bachelor's degree in Political Science. I am well on my way. Thank you for this opportunity.
Bryent Smothermon PTSD Awareness Scholarship
'PTSD' is a very serious condition. I feel strongly about changing the mental health crisis at hand in America. Overlooked I feel it has gone. I feel we are very behind psychologically. Until we address the concern towards improving our education which statistically we are basically a third-world country in my opinion when it comes to where we rank statistically in education and many other matters. When you have the resources we have as a country there is no excuse we lack in many areas that we do. Systematic failure and preset notions to inhibit failure among society I believe are the cause of the mental health crisis. A corrupt system that goes hand in hand with the substance abuse crisis. Being diagnoses with 'PTSD' and 'Trauma' as well as having abandonment issues, I have a strong connection to this matter. Engaging in the process to better the stigma has helped me with my diagnosis. I feel as a community together we can improve the morale of individuals with simple human connection. Human connection is a powerful tool. Engaging in positive matters will improve ones morale I feel. When putting yourself in happy situations, endorphins are released, allowing your serotonin receptors to activate which induces happiness. Stemming away from symptoms of depression which is a leading cause of 'PTSD' I have found in my research. There are many diagnosis' that could use improvement as well as 'ADHD' I believe. I believe in America we have turned to temporary fixes that leave long-term side effects that we do not have answers to solving. Until we address these matters as a community I feel we will not make the proper progress. I have worked in areas like mental health, dual-diagnosis treatment centers that handle substance abuse. Originally getting in the healthcare field on the business end at a entry-level marketing position, I worked my way up to Director of Marketing but then requested a transfer to Client Services. I couldn't fathom seeing the corruption in other businesses I refused to work with when seeing the failure in keeping the patients best interest as the sole priority of being an employee in the healthcare industry. That corruption led me to pursue my education in law as well as a desire for political science. Education is essential in many ways. It can help you better place yourself for better positions in the workplace setting in order to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Any person can make a dramatic difference in someones life that is affected by PTSD. We have a growing crisis with our Veteran's of War that suffer from PTSD as well. Finding the sources to help these individuals is one of the first step's I feel we can take as a nation. Helping one another is one tool I feel every human has, as well as not lost sight of as a nation, which is why I still have faith in America as a nation in general. I would like to pursue the military but due to my diagnosis I am not sure if I still can. I do not have trauma or anything. But the fear of telling my recruiter about my PTSD and Depression diagnosis hinders me from knowing if I can re-take my ASVAB test and apply for the military again. A desire to serve my country and get into politics later in life has been a growing goal of mine. I feel we need to change our political system and start from their to then make lifelong changes to better the mental health crisis.
Ella Henderson Dream Big Scholarship
Music. Poetry. Where do I begin. Through trials and tribulations in my life; music has been the therapy that has gotten me through some rough patches in life. Traumatic instances that could have set me back; but no. I allowed myself to centralize my thoughts with the help of music. Having music integrated into my life has been a blessing. Relating to songs on a deep broad aspect allows me to connect with not only the lyrics; but the artist. What is it that is so powerful and moving about music that it can grasp you from the second a tune is played; a melody is heard, or a lyric connects with a part of your soul that you can't seem to stop playing that song or one verse in your head. Honestly, if it wasn't for music, I don't know where I would be today.
On a daily basis, I allow music to elevate my thinking and willingness to change. It gravitates my soul to levels that a mediocre talk with someone about my scenarios that have been troubling just could not do the trick like music. I recommend writing poetry to anyone. I simply cannot focus without music in the background sometimes. Even when studying or doing homework, I have to have some sort of guided meditation or background music on to soothe my mind. I sometimes say the pain in the brain gets taken away by the melodies of the music. What is it that music consists that is so powerful? Me; I believe it is the connection we build with the artist and the lyrics. I would hope others can gain the sense of serenity I get from listening to music during times whether they are troubling or positive. Music is life. Thank you
"Your Success" Youssef Scholarship
The need for higher education is always a plus. Growing up in a family of education and teachers; I always knew I had to find a way to make my own living. Being taught that education is key and no one is going to get it for you. When you move forward to revolutionize what you do as a person, stepping into each detail in life, you synchronize what you are specifically passionate about. Education has always been a passion for me. My grandfather was the Director of Elementary for many years, growing up in the school department offices with him until his retirement. I learned principles not many will find in life. My other grandfather being a laborer, working his way up, both having no education any parental support. They paved their own way. Living in South Florida and earning my way into positions that started as entry-level marketing that worked my way up to Director of Marketing, Client Services, Medical Billing, Admissions, Business Development, the list goes on. I was able to synchronize my capability in Healthcare Administration into which I found I have a passion for helping people and changing lives. Where I find myself one day I do not know. I know I love representing people. So my paralegal degree is a start. Law school afterward is my goal. Opening a law firm that represents individuals with no legitimate guidance as a teenager in the field I want to major in. Representing juveniles. Adults as well. Mainly juveniles. When you help these individuals you can help mold and shape their life. The power of friendship is manifesting daily. Friendship will bring you down path's that many can not. Knowledge will broaden that path. Having a job that allows you to do so in the active field and the duty of being a public servant to the world around you is making the difference that many sometimes do not see. It is what you do behind closed doors. I have worked with people who started the show Intervention before it was on "television". Interventions in life sometimes are what is needed to alter the path that some choose to walk down. Who is to discourage someone from traveling that path to success or destiny? Putting passion behind your goals I feel will guide you morally like a compass looking for the north. With all these tools backed behind you, you can then move forward to initialize a strategy of success to change the world around you. Political goals are my long-term goal. Right now I just take it day by day into synchronizing what will best suit me for the day to help others around me. Who can discredit anyone from making a difference? What are the parameters of success if there is no realm that holds you back from it? Questions that are left unanswered are obstacles we fear. If you let fear motivate you to move forward on a daily basis you might not see the shots you want to take. So when you step forward into fear on a daily basis you could also initialize a worthy plan to help format a system for you to work best in. What is left in a sense of systems that have no worthy plan or goal? Systematic failure has been an everlasting ripple effect throughout the country the USA. Moving forward I would then like to think of military service when I hit around 32. So where is its success will take me? I hope my passion lets me know.
Bold Moments No-Essay Scholarship
Sometimes it's not what you do around others but when you do things alone that makes the consciously aware of good deeds. I use to manage a CO-OP Mental Health House. One gentleman has battled going through four stages of chemo during his cancer treatment. No one would give the gentleman a ride. Older in age so I offered to take him on personal time that I was permitted to by my boss. He had to bring his inhaler so I didn't mind helping the gentleman walk. People observed in the store. I remember it like yesterday.
Mental Health Movement Scholarship
Throughout my life, I have dealt with a family with severe mental illness. Always raised never to let it get in the way of what our goals are in the realm of success we would like to conquer. Every day is a battle of acceptance and realization of actuality. I have gained this perspective from the severity of how some of my family's cases are. Direct family members. For their respect, I like to give them anonymity. For I believe it takes the self to come forward with one's perspective of what they are experiencing to have full complete acceptance if it goes hand in hand with diagnosis' and other theories that revolve around positive influence towards bettering one's life. I have worked in client services for many years in the mental healthcare field as well as substance abuse. Not judging one is always a must. Letting them be whom they come to you with but working with that individual to come up with critical thinking methods, CBT, life coaching skills, education services, financial support services, etc. The list goes on. Motivation is key. Knowing life is meant to better. I just recently for my birthday coming up on April 11th did a fundraiser on one of my Facebook pages for Butler Hospital. Mental illness motivates me daily to be a better individual for the world. Realms of the brain we seem to sometimes tap into that we cannot yet understand from a psychological, scientific, as well as many other standpoints, we are yet to understand those percentages of the brain. Thank you.
Better Food, Better World Scholarship
Food is not only essential in the process of nutrition for the body's needs daily for nutrients, etc. Health and wellness are key in many components that cross ties with food. You can synchronize a diet that is specific to a regime of your choice to proceed to a goal of health and nutrition if that is the route chosen. Advised yes. Diet and nutrition in America have been horrible. It seems to be we are attempting to take a turn to more healthy food styles that are commonly being brought out into the world of business when it comes to the food industry.
What a specific diet can do for you is miraculous. Superfoods for example have X amount of the nutrients that are described specifically for each type that cover many areas of nutrition to reach the daily needs if not over exceeding them. A healthy diet in my opinion supports a healthy lifestyle that goes hand in hand with the lifestyle structure you have. It is a percentage of your every day. Without it, there is no possibility you can function after X amount of time of not supporting yourself properly with nutrition. With that being said. Passion for food to me is something therapeutic. Cooking in itself is therapeutic.
Not only can it relieve stress by distracting the mind sometimes without even knowing it (subconsciously). There are so many components that bring passion around the simple concept of "food". Therefore, enjoying making homemade smoothies with nutritious fruits and vegetables, etc. There is something about creation that excites me. Not only that but taking chances and seeing positive outcomes 9/10. If not always.
Ending my essay I would like to say, you can't have passion if you haven't gone through an experience that has similarities or some common factor related to whatever you are passionate about, this essay being food. Passion can not only be something you use to drive your everyday motivation, but it can be a big factor that you also have to keep boundaries and not let passion get before priorities and trusting your gut instincts. You can be passionate about something and go all out. But that passion might lead you to a negative outcome. Always analyze everything. Being analytical will give you the opportunity to prevent failure when putting out effort and risking with a chance. So am I not passionate about food? Of course not. Just wanted to touch on something that goes hand in hand with this essay as well if we are talking about passion too.
Therefore I would like to conclude my essay by saying I took great interest in writing this and I look forward to seeing who the winner is. Good luck to everyone. After reading this I hope it motivates someone to a healthy diet, that in my opinion with food; leads to a healthy lifestyle.
Breanden Beneschott Grant for Chemical Engineers
Entrepreneurship is essential in everyday life. Traveling my way through life with the mindset to accomplish any task that comes my way is key. Engineering runs in my family as my Uncle always showed me blueprints to bridges he helped structure for the City of Providence. It interests me very much. Chemical engineering is an advancement our world must go towards. Combining it medically is what will add key components to the mixture. Knowledge thyself in these areas are very interesting on my behalf. I have a wide variety of knowledge in the medical field. Biochemical Engineering. The processes behind it. I study the World Science Festival and watch many lectures on advancement in technology as we must embrace it. Life is full of components. The key is being successful at what you do and educating yourself to do so. Positive impacts on the world come from those with the desire not only in business but the process of evolution. From components that were put out by people like Steven Hawkins. Philosophers like Plutarch and Seneca always influence the process of what we should expect in life when facing adversity. City before self always. The key process of revolutionizing evolution in a manner that is appropriate for the people and an economic commodity that is positive. We can move forward in pacing ourselves as students, workers, etc. What moves forward must come back around. History in a sense. Chemical/Bioengineering has more components that go down to neuroplasticity, 3-D Printing. Quantum mechanics. Many deep factors that scientists are now finding beneficial and crossing them in ways we have never seen. Warp speed manners. Covid-19 for example. We learned to work with less, at a faster pace. Accelerated. Leaving nothing else to say but the capability of humans is limitless. What is to say my potential in chemical engineering is not limitless either? As an entrepreneur, I could facilitate more consultant-like deals and bring together people to work together in manners I promise aren't done as Philosophy speaks about. It's what you make of every situation. How you carry yourself. Represent yourself. Nevertheless, working towards improving myself in everyday life I like to consider myself a Padwon in the game. Everyone can be the Jedi Master as long as I am learning. Acting on my efforts that I knowledge myself with. Branching out and networking is always essential and key. You must not get stagnant in any areas you pursue. If given an opportunity, grasp it. Do not miss anything energy throws your way, for biochemical engineering consists of many components of energy. What will we do with it as students and businessmen and corporate owners? We will proceed to better the sophistication of study and advance as a civilization or will we rely on artificial intelligence to replace what we can already do. Or we will use biochemical engineering, chemical engineering, and many other types of research to sophisticate the human body like Artificial Intelligence. That goes deep into the research of why we must proceed with Space-X. Furthermore, I am happy to have been able to apply to this scholarship. Thank you

Austin Kramer Music-Maker Scholarship
Recently acquiring my first MacBook I am interested in anything that grabs the eye, music always being a passion. I said to myself. I must learn this platform and blend my soul and spirit into my passion. I learned it very quickly and came up with some beats that were new era, tranquility, funky, ambient, trap. I love the concept of blending music. I am also a writer. With over 300 songs written.
