Hello, my name is Nhi, and thank you for providing opportunities that enable students to afford their future education! I am currently a rising high school senior, so the topic of college has been ever more frequently at the forefront of my mind. I love reading, playing and listening to music, theater, and language learning. I play the violin in my school orchestra, and in my spare time, I have been trying to learn the guitar, the piano, and the flute. I am currently in IB French, and leaning towards a major in international affairs or linguistics - possibly to become a translator or interpreter. Above all, I love my family. I want to pay back all the love and support they have shown me, even at my lowest moments, by making my education less of a financial burden for them. Through scholarships, as well as having my own job, my greatest goal at the moment is to be able to pay for my own tuition. In the future, I want to be able to provide for my parents to thank them for all they have done for me, especially as a first generation college student and immigrant.
