I aspire to be a lawyer in the near future as I prepare to get my criminology as well as my sociology degree at Assumption University. Being a double major is not easy but I’m very passionate about the law and very devoted to my work. I enjoy spending time with my siblings as well as my mom who does her best to take care of us all on her own. I would consider myself very outgoing, honest, and loyal and I hope you would consider me the same! :)

You Glow Differently When You're Happy Scholarship
A dream vacation in Tulum, Mexico with a partner I wouldn't trade for anything else. Living out my dream of traveling the world one country at a time. This was me in April 2021, taking a well deserved vacation with no care in the world. Experiencing parts of the world that no one in my family has told me stories about. This is also the place I found out I was baring a child with my partner, on the vacation destination of my dreams.
Pandemic's Box Scholarship
How has the pandemic affected my life and aspirations in a positive way? For starters, the pandemic caught me completely offguard my senior year of high school. It affected my mental health, a lot of friendships, family relationships, and financial status for me. However, I managed to push through the struggles and do the inner work that I needed to heal inner traumas. Although it was a battle going on in my own mind, I came out winning. Losing my job was something that affected me since I was so accustomed to my routine of school then work. The pandemic broke me before it would put me back together again. I found the love of creating candles again and chose to run with this talent of mine. I now run a small candle business that allows me to pour a little bit of myself into each candle. Curated with love and with all the healing energy I put towards myself during a struggling time of mine. It’s become my happy place, a business that is rooted in my own healing journey. The pandemic taught me patience and helped me find a talent that allows me to feel peace.
