I honestly don't like where I live. Dallas, Texas where I lived my whole life and I have always seen negative situations and I would want to change that. For example, my dad has been locked away my whole life due to selling drugs ad getting caught up in the wrong situations. I have not seen my father in years and I'm about to graduate in two months so, I just want younger kids to be able to grow up with a father in their life and not have to question themselves on why this and that is not going right within your life. Also, it can change a lot with the streets because they can see him changing his life around and he can put a positive outlook on them and touch them so that they can stop. I understand that some people do not have any other option but it's always around it you can give your life to god so that he can lead you in a better direction because its so many people that are losing their life because of a simple drug deal gone bad. When my father gets out and comes home I don't want him to revert to his old life because he has missed so much in my life and now he's coming back I have to take a stand and say you have to do right or you'll be back in prison so, I would like for him to really work on our relationship, gain trust back because really I don't even know this human and I at least want to give him a chance to redeem himself. I also want to stop and talk about James Lynn. For him to be a prison man I wish I could get to talk to him today because he would know what to say to me about me gaining a new relationship with my father, it's like he would understand my situation and how I feel like I don't think nobody knows or understands how I feel about this man coming back into my life I just do not want to get let down because I don't know why boys treat girls the way they do. It's just simple stuff like that he could tell me that my mother couldn't so, I wish that James Lynn was still here to tell me that it'll be ok to give him a second chance to prove you wrong, Also, by him coming out of Lincoln High School so many people expect us young black people not to finish school and be dropouts and do nothing with your life but, I'm here to tell you this class of 2023 is about to prove the world wrong.
