My name is Nadra Binford and I am an aspiring Architectural Engineer who is outgoing, fun, fearless, sociable, and creative. Not only am I an energetic person but I am also dedicated, attentive, persistent, motivated, and hard-working. If somebody were to ask what motivates me? I would answer my family & goals. I love my family and they are so supportive and helpful with everything I do. I’m also very motivated by my lovely dog, choco. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me! I want to attend college for many reasons. I'd say the main reason is so I can contribute and give back to the community and make a great impact. College seems like a great opportunity for me to push myself and work twice as hard to make sure I can get the resources to give back to the community. There are three main benefits that I keep in mind for college. 1) Promotes financial stability 2) Increased Access to job opportunities 3) Increased marketability. Going to college will help me to flourish in certain studies that are needed for my goals. I want to make sure that I benefit from college and those three benefits motivate me to guarantee a spot in college. Now you may ask me how will I make an impact? Or how will I give back to the community? Well since I want to be an architectural engineer, I plan to build homes that are affordable and mobile for the less fortunate and the homeless community. This is something I am very passionate about. I would start a whole company in order to promote my work. The mobile homes would be 1-2 bedrooms and the constructed homes would be 2-5 bedrooms. My main goal is for all the homes to fit any less fortunate families and homeless people. Another impact that I could contribute by using my education in civil engineering is constructing industrial buildings. Such as company buildings, restaurants, skyscrapers, and malls. All these buildings can be used by anybody for any reason. I could even construct community gardens and schools. I have so many goals for the future and I want to flourish and thrive through college so I can make it happen. College is important to me and I want to make sure I have the financials for it, so a scholarship would be very useful. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my application!

Hmm...what is school? Well, school is an institution for educating children. Hmm....well what inspired you to stay motivated for back to school!? All of my goals do! I am so happy for back to school because I am ready to get back into a healthy growth mindset. Now, what REALLY inspired your #Back2SchoolBold moment? I was very inspired by my mother. She is such a well-rounded successful person. She graduated with a master's degree and I really wanna follow in her footsteps. School itself is already an inspiration, but I wanted to make sure to return to school while staying BOLD! So what did I do to stay bold? I maintained a before-school routine, a healthy breakfast, and kept a neat planner. Also, this will all be a healthy routine for everyday things as well. Not only did I had to work on my mental mindset but I also had to enhance my physical appearance. I did my hair, worked on my skin, and got new clothes. I wanted to feel bold and new for school. To conclude this, I was heavily inspired to work harder in order to be bold for back to school!
