Bio

Hi! I'm a senior in high school and am passionate about affecting global change in the business world through innovation. I am the co-founder of platform Equally, leveraging AI to detect implicit bias in text, and founder of platform Bits of Business, highlighting underrepresented leaders, including women and POC. I was invited to speak on the Wharton School's Global Youth Podcast for her DEIJ work and have been recognized by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, in which I placed 1st in the Peace & Justice Challenge for Equally. I've explored my love for innovating in the education landscape by presenting an innovation concept leveraging AI to teach rural Nigerian children how to read in front of the Global Education Lead at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: Asyia Kazmi, and hundreds of others. After a time of disconnect with COVID, I saw the importance of improving dialogue at my school and introduced the first TEDxYouth event to my school to amplify the youth voice. I enjoy expressing myself in writing, placing as a winner of the New York Times' coming of age competition for my piece: The Unanimous Declaration of the Neglected Teens of America. When free, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and binging Netflix. I believe that the most meaningful impact comes from a desire to empathize with the unique stories of others, which inspire her daily and being willing to appreciate differences. I aim to embody this desire daily through social justice, education reform, and much more.
