As a young child I had to grow up too young and constantly adjust to many environments. In total my family and I had to move nearly 14 times and I experienced sexual assault multiple times in the 5th grade. I experienced bullying and struggling in my education as I moved constantly. All my life I felt as if I had a unique story. I struggled with my mental health but it all worked out in the end. I learned to keep pushing myself in school by studying and joining organizations. received the blessing of being accepted into my dream college at Texas A&M University. I went to college not knowing how it worked because my parents never went to college. My father did not finish college but my mother went to cosmetology school to pursue hairstyling. Unfortunately, my father was the only one to work since my mother suffered from her three surgeries. My father has recently been laid off at his job as a welder. I of course worry about my expenses for college for the future. My mother now takes photos for truck enthusiast and my father is looking for side jobs. It is amazing to see my parents doing what they love and benefitting me and my two siblings. As the oldest, I want to show my appreciation for the support they have shown me. I admire what I am pursuing in college and I want to give back to people in need. I wish to help my family and help solve problems in our World.
