Bio

There's so much I want to do in life and while I might know where I'll end up, I know that my main interest is supporting my mom and sister. They've had to deal with a lot, and as the big brother, I know that every penny saved, is a penny earned and those pennies will make the difference in making sure that my mom and sister will have the best life. Outside of that, I do of course have hobbies and interests of my own, I certainly am not a robot despite how bloody awesome that would be (I may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with the sciences and technology). I'm a big fan of rock music from The Smiths in the 80s, to the 2000s with bands like Panic at the Disco. I also find myself highly appreciative of modern indie pop like Clairo. If given the opportunity, I'd like to explore the multitude of different paths available to me and take advantage of every opening in making sure I can become the best version of myself possible!

"Novacane" is a song by Frank Ocean, released on his debut mixtape "Nostalgia, Ultra" in 2011. The song is about a man who falls in love with a dental student who numbs him with Novocain (a type of local anesthetic) during a dental procedure. The man is initially infatuated with the numbness and the lack of pain, but eventually realizes that he is numb to his emotions as well and is unable to fully connect with the woman. The song is thought to be autobiographical, and is often interpreted as a commentary on the emotional numbness that can result from unhealthy relationships or from the pursuit of pleasure without connection. The song's chorus includes the lines "Can't feel a thing, you're numbing me / You're numbing me / Novacane, Novacane / It's numbing me, it's numbing me." These lines highlight the disconnection and emotional numbness that the protagonist is experiencing. The song's message about the dangers of emotional numbness and disconnection is an important one, as it highlights the need for genuine connection and emotional vulnerability in relationships. In a world where we often seek out pleasure and distraction to avoid dealing with difficult emotions, "Novacane" serves as a reminder that true connection and fulfillment come from allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and open to our emotions.

We work to better understand the nature of our universe for many reasons. First, a better understanding of the universe can help us answer fundamental questions about our place in the cosmos and the origins of the universe itself. This can provide us with a greater sense of meaning and purpose, and can also inspire us to continue exploring and pushing the boundaries of what we know. Second, a better understanding of the universe can also have practical benefits. For example, a deeper understanding of the laws of physics can help us develop new technologies and innovations, such as faster and more efficient forms of transportation, or new forms of energy. This can have major positive impacts on society, such as improving our standard of living and supporting economic growth. To better understand the nature of the universe, I hope to employ a number of ideas and concepts from the fields of physics, astronomy, and cosmology. For example, I would like to study the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics, which provide powerful frameworks for understanding the behavior of matter and energy on a fundamental level. I would also like to study the observed properties of the universe, such as the distribution of galaxies and the cosmic microwave background radiation, and use these observations to test and refine our theories about the universe. As a whole, I believe that working to better understand the nature of our universe is a valuable and important pursuit. By using the tools and concepts of science, we can make significant progress in answering fundamental questions about the universe, and can also have practical benefits for society. While art may not be as directly connected to the study of the universe as fields like physics and astronomy, it can still play an important role in helping us understand and appreciate the mysteries of the cosmos. Art, in its various forms, can provide a unique and creative perspective on the universe that can help us see it in new and exciting ways. For example, art can help us visualize and understand complex scientific concepts in a way that is more accessible and engaging than scientific papers or equations. This can be particularly useful for communicating ideas about the universe to a wider audience, such as the general public or children who may not have a strong background in science. Furthermore, art can also help us appreciate the beauty and majesty of the universe in a way that science alone cannot. Through art, we can express our awe and wonder at the vastness of the cosmos and the mysteries that it holds. This can help us feel a deeper connection to the universe and inspire us to continue exploring and learning about it. Predominantly, while art may not be able to directly reveal the secrets of the universe, it can still play an important role in helping us understand and appreciate the mysteries of the cosmos. By incorporating art into our exploration of the universe, we can gain a deeper and more meaningful understanding of its wonders.
