I aspire to continue my studies as a first generation and be a support for my mother who has been example of hard work and getting ahead. That no matter the circumstances, you always have to have a smile and see life with positivity and strength but above all to do things correctly. I have gone through strong depressions and fears but my mother has been there supporting me and trusting that I can achieve it and that makes me wake up every morning in a better future full of hope and faith that together we are achieving it little by little.
I study at SOAR High School, I have a GPA of 4.39 and I have done more 100 volunteer hours at the hospital in Lancaster , CA. This year I was able to do an internship at the National Institute of Forensic Criminology in Guatemala and it helped me a lot to learn about violence and crime that is increasingly uncontrollable and we young people must be the change in a society where moral values and respect for life must always prevail so that in each country there can be a better future for other generations. My mother has taught me that the best thing we young people can do is take advantage of our time and study to change the course of a country. We deserve to live in a society with security, harmony and tranquility.
I want to continue studying a career in Criminology or Forensic Criminology.
I have done many volunteers jobs in mi city Lancaster from cleaning parks, painting places, retired military activities, etc. I have been involved in clubes at my school for justice competitions Mock Trial, ASB, Art Club, Robotics, CSF (California Scholarship Federation).
I believe that justice must always prevail and above all instill in others to make positive changes for spiritual and mental benefit. From a very young age I was taught to respect others and believe in myself but above all to fulfill my goals and achieve them.
I love animals and I have rescued stray cats that have been abandoned. You have to know how to give love and give the little you have, I have accompanied my mother to feed the homeless on the streets of Lancaster. I know we don’t have a lot of money but the little we can contribute to others is good for them.
