Bio

I am a student - athlete that began my pursuit of a Criminal Justice degree in 2022, and plan to attend law school. I love football because I enjoy competition, challenging myself and being strategic. Football requires more analysis and critical thinking then most think and has taught me to win/lose, commitment, team and more. I am a scholar who performs well academically, committed to my goals on and off the field. I have worked every summer and volunteer. My most recent initiative is with the YMCA Early Childhood Learning Center where I read to preschool children. Besides, volunteering, I am proud of the online store I operated during the pandemic and recently started a business internship where I developed and am managing a painting business including marketing, project estimates, customer service, recruiting, hiring, and training employees, delivery, site supervision, bookkeeping and sales. An issue that upsets me but also inspires me are the crimes - theft, assault, murder, manslaughter, rape, burglary - taking place here in my neighborhood to terrorist attacks, cybercrimes, and corruption against our nation and I want to be a part of the solution. I plan to serve as an example for young men in my neighborhood and beyond that cannot visualize a college education because no one in their immediate circle has one. There are not many African American males in the legal field nor law enforcement at any level. I plan to increase that number by one. After graduation, I will support programs financially and with service that work to keep males on the right track like me.
