Creativity has always been a strength of mine. Whether it was trying to draw, write, make music, code video games, or even make a short film as a school project with friends, I was always trying to create something tangible. I had always had a great imagination but I struggled to actually make my ideas a reality, and then I took my first engineering class. I was hooked instantly, engineering is all about making your ideas a reality and It's just awesome. I am passionate about engineering because of the freedom it gives you to turn something in your imagination into a physical reality.

Baseball has left me with some of my best memories and I'll always look at Summertime differently for the rest of my life. Iowa plays high school baseball in the Summer and I play for the Roosevelt Baseball team in Des Moines Iowa. I love baseball because of the memories I have made through it. Whether it was playing Tik-Tak-Toe during rain delays with the other team, winning my one and only tournament, spending hours hitting in the cage with buddies, or the winter hitting sessions at 9:30 at night. My favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals because my grandpa is a Cardinal fan and we would always watch the games together when I was at my grandparents' house. My favorite player of all time is Albert Pujols because he is a Cardinal Legend and he was one of the first players I ever saw. Lastly, my favorite position is Pitcher. I was always a terrible pitcher back during tournament ball and little league but in I really put in work for it and I've turned into, in my opinion, a very good pitcher. My brother was always a pitcher and now we are always competing and arguing about who is the better pitcher between the two of us. This competition has made both of us better and brought us closer.
