Hello, my name is Marshall Rohrbach. I was raised by my single mother alongside a brother and a sister in Auburn Indiana.
My hopes for life are to have a family and be able to serve God and my community through my life and work. If this can be accomplished, I will have had a successful life by my standards. Having done what I can to prepare, I plan to graduate from Trine University in 2026 with a bachelor's in criminal justice. I will then apply to become a Conservation Officer and go to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Becoming a Conservation Officer will fulfill my desire to serve my community and give me the satisfaction of working in the outdoors.
My whole life, I have been blessed to live in the country where it is easy to enjoy the outdoors. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or taking a hike I have relished being outdoors. Conservation Officers are police officers that work for the state and enforce laws at state parks and other state-owned properties. Among other things, Conservation Officers work on problems involving wild animals and violations of hunting regulations. The role of being a Conservation Officer will unite my desire to serve my community as a member of the law enforcement and my love of nature.
I believe I am a great candidate for scholarships because of my desire to serve my community in my life as a conservation officer. I have held leadership positions in my choir and 4-H and have been required to teach and guide my peers in multiple ways.
Thank you for your consideration.
