Art has always felt like a best friend I've had all my life. I've always been an artist ever since I was little. Art has inspired me in many different ways that I cherish in my heart. Without art, I fear what I could have become in its absence. It made me realize how special I am and that there's more to life than stagnant media and goals. I am very passionate about art and the effect it has on society. I believe I can help portray that message that I discovered so long ago to many minds. I want to contribute to the notion that art can affect our lives in great ways, and that art can be a force of self-expression, livelihood, and overall positivity in society. I embrace the power that art has on humans and the notion that it can lead to a whole new world of cognition. I believe art and technology are two of the biggest human abilities that can change the world for the better. I feel like my most meaningful contribution to my community is actually what I'm working on right now. I'm doing a portrait for my friend's friend's family whose grandmother passed away recently. They've wanted a portrait for her to honor her and the great memories they had with her. I know that creating this portrait for them is a beautiful act of kindness and they're extremely grateful to have an artist who can fulfill their needs in a short amount of time. I am getting paid but me bringing the family peace and closure with this painting is enough compensation for me. It feels good making a bad situation into A slightly better one in my community. I also think I’m helping out my community with my art by inspiring others in my city to pursue their talents. Last year one of my pieces was featured on a billboard. The exact billboard was called LED Virtual Art Billboard, in Baltimore, MD. I like to think many people saw my piece and felt the magic that I know Baltimore has. Lots of people know Baltimore for its crime and economic hardships but there was so much more than that. There's so much talent here and I'm happy to contribute to the positive representation of Baltimore. Also, I believe that I inspire my niece and nephew to practice art. Every time they visit they always want to draw or paint. They know I'm an artist and they want to make art just like mine. I love this because they are doing something productive with their time. Also, art can positively affect children's mindsets as they grow up, like their imagination, creativity, work ethic, and problem-solving skills. They improved so much over the years and I think they could benefit from this skill. I feel like I’m being a positive force for good in my community.

I embrace the power that art has on humans and the notion that it can lead to a whole new world of cognition. I believe art and technology are two of the biggest human abilities that can change the world for the better. From a kid to the present day, I always dreamed of being a famous artist and entrepreneur. I envision my future self doing many things. I see myself traveling with my friends and business colleagues around the world going to many different art scenes but also experiencing many different cultures and ways of life. I always wanted to visit places like France, Greece, London, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Egypt, and Japan. I love learning about new cultures and experiencing them in person. A topic that engages me like no other is Art in the future. Art can be many different things, for example, art can be motivational speaking or fashion. Art seems to have no limit to the forms it can take and the effects it can have on mankind. Honestly, I feel as though we're only scratching the surface of what art can be. So to imagine what art would look like in the future fascinates me. With the significance of technology becoming more and more prominent and the power of both concepts working together would truly give us experiences that are out of this world. Maybe even out of this universe! It is a dream of mine to contribute to this topic before I pass away. I've always felt like I've been forced into boxes I don't fit in or trapped in ways of life that my soul is limited and spirit is contained. I hope in the future I will become a person who expresses themselves and their work to the amount of greatness they inspire to be. A person who is the boss of their establishments and helps the world become more evolutionary for the betterment of it. In the future I want to make a name for myself, I don't know entirely about what yet, but I know I want to be an important figure in the art world and be an entrepreneur releasing my ideas to the world making it a more beautiful place. I want to influence society with progressive change and the beauty of human nature. I also want to connect with other facets of art and production like music, film, photography, dance, and technology and collaborate on world-changing things. Stagnant media has influenced my life and the people around me a lot, I feel like most of it has brought us staleness, lethargy, and even pain. I want to help create forms of media that are more helpful, inspiring, and engaging to society.

The Twins first started as a digital drawing of a solo female model in the center of the page with an intricate circle in the background. I started this piece in 2018. Only last year I stumbled across it again while I was searching for pieces to put in my portfolio. I looked at this piece and said to myself, this has a lot of potential to be something breathtaking. I thought I should work on this portrait more and completely transform it. I wanted this piece to be epic and to represent myself as an artist. I wanted it to portray me as an artist that holds no boundaries in a traditional art mentality, an artist that loves bright colors, abnormal compositions, and out-of-this-world concepts. I wanted to incorporate Asian culture and artwork into my piece. More specifically Thailand culture because the model I used for reference was Thai, with some Japanese and Chinese inspiration as well because I love those styles. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't offend those cultures with my interpretations so I did research and looked at art from those cultures for reference. After I added all of those elements I loved how the piece looked twenty times more. Looking back on how it previously looked I'm glad I made those changes because it looked so empty before and now the space feels filled. After that, I added some finishing touches to the drawing like color saturation, lighting, and more detail and then I realized I was done. This experience has made me grow as an artist in terms of my technicality, work ethic, and concept thinking. I'm still blossoming into the artist I want to become but I think this piece shows I'm on the path to greatness and succession.
