Healing Self and Community Scholarship
As a co- founder of a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, I would ensure affordable and accessible mental health care for all, through my nonprofit by introducing a comprehensive approach. Firstly, I would establish community-based mental health centers in easily reachable locations like schools, community centers, or online platforms. These centers would offer counseling, therapy, and support groups led by trained professionals.
Secondly, I would leverage technology to provide remote counseling services via video calls or chat platforms. This way, individuals in remote areas or those unable to travel can still access support.
Additionally, I would collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to negotiate reduced rates for mental health services. By advocating for policy changes and raising awareness about the importance of mental health, we'd work towards making insurance coverage for mental health care more inclusive and affordable.
Furthermore, I would recruit and train volunteers, including mental health professionals and peer supporters, to expand our reach and provide additional support to those in need.
Lastly, I would organize workshops and educational programs in schools and communities to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help.
Through these initiatives, I aim to break down barriers to mental health care and ensure that everyone, regardless of their financial situation or location, can access the support they need to thrive.

Hermit Tarot Scholarship
The Visconti-Sforza Tarot card is my favorite because the cards in this deck feature intricate, hand-painted artwork, which adds to their rarity. The artistic quality and historical value of the Visconti-Sforza Tarot make it highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. In my opinion, The Visconti-Sforza Tarot is not just a divinatory tool but a piece of cultural and historical heritage. It's rarity and historical importance make it a valuable artifact. Due to the limited number of surviving decks and their historical significance, the Visconti-Sforza Tarot cards are considered some of the most rare and valuable in the world of tarot. While they are not commonly used for divination today, they hold a special place in the history of tarot and the broader context of art and culture. Additionally, Only a few complete or near-complete decks of the Visconti-Sforza Tarot have survived to this day. Many of them are housed in museums and private collections, making them inaccessible to the general public. The history behind it is also spectacular. This deck dates back to the 15th century, making it one of the earliest known tarot decks. It was created for the Visconti and Sforza families of Milan, Italy, and is considered an important artifact of the Renaissance period. Due to the limited number of surviving decks and their historical significance, the Visconti-Sforza Tarot cards are considered some of the most rare and valuable in the world of tarot. Learner Calculus Scholarship
I think calculus is inportant in the STEM field because of its foundational role in understanding and describing a wide range of natural phenomena, facilitating precise analysis, modeling, and problem-solving. The mathematical discipline alone that was developed by Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz in the 17th century, is still the solid foundation of scientific and engineering research to this day.
Firstly, calculus equips scientists, engineers, and mathematicians with a rigorous and systematic approach to analyzing change. By introducing this concept, calculus allows for the quantification of rates of change in various physical processes. This is fundamental in understanding phenomena like the velocity of a moving object, the growth rate of populations, or the rate of heat transfer in a chemical reaction. Without calculus, it would be challenging to mathematically model and describe these dynamic processes accurately and that would leave us with more problems than we can imagine!
Secondly, calculus is known for creating mathematical models to represent complex real-world systems. In fields such as physics, calculus is used to describe the motion of objects, ranging from celestial bodies to everyday objects in motion. For example, Engineers use calculus to model structural stress, fluid flow, and electrical circuits, enabling them to design and optimize bridges, airplanes, and electronic devices. Calculus allows researchers to develop models that not only reflect current conditions but also predict future behavior, making it a powerful tool.
Additionally, to calculus being a concept in the STEM field. Engineers use optimization techniques to design efficient systems, whether it be optimizing the shape of an aircraft wing to reduce drag, finding the ideal production schedule for a factory, or minimizing energy consumption in a building. Calculus helps in these endeavors by providing methods to find maximum and minimum values of functions. For example, calculus can determine the most efficient route for delivering goods, reducing transportation costs and time.
Furthermore, calculus plays a vital role in the analysis of accumulated quantities. Integration, the counterpart to differentiation in calculus, is used to calculate accumulations under curves, which have a multitude of applications. In physics, it aids in determining the work done by a force, while in economics, it is used to compute total revenue and profit. The ability to calculate these accumulations is essential for accurate predictions and assessments of performance, which are central in STEM fields.
Additionally, calculus is a component of statistical analysis and data science. Techniques such as calculus of variations and integral calculus are used in statistical analysis and probability theory, enabling scientists and statisticians to make sense of data, analyze trends, and draw meaningful conclusions. In the era of big data, calculus contributes to the development of powerful algorithms for machine learning and data analysis.
Finally, in the STEM field, calculus supports innovation and the development of new technologies. Whether in electrical engineering, software development, or materials science, calculus plays a pivotal role in designing and optimizing products and systems. It is the mathematical underpinning that ensures these innovations are not only functional but also efficient and cost-effective.
In conclusion, calculus is the foundation of the STEM field, providing the necessary mathematical framework for analyzing change, modeling complex phenomena, optimizing systems, and making informed decisions. Its significance is vital in scientific research, engineering, technology development, and data analysis, making it the best tool for advancing our understanding of the natural world and driving progress in STEM-related fields.
Chris Jackson Computer Science Education Scholarship
I got interested in pursuing a computer science degree through wanting to learn how to use computers and develop problem-solving skills, and learn the fundamental skills of computing well enough until I can teach it. I am an entrepreneur and co founder of a nonprofit organization called Rich Gen Z. I founded this nonprofit to empower the youth and generation z. I believe by me receiving a degree in computer science. I can teach the fundamentals and give the youth another skill and asset to use. I feel that I am the best candidate to receive this scholarship because I genuinely want to help my community, myself, and the youth who do not normally have opportunities like this to make a change and be apart of something bigger. I also believe that me being able to teach this to others, would bring a huge impact in problem solving for a lot of youth.
