- I go to Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio Texas, it was not available on the school choice list.
I’m passionate, driven and creative. I want to help others and be a leader both in school and outside of it. I’ve been in advanced classes as long as I can remember because I like being challenged and stepping out of my comfort zone. I love dancing, am interested in law enforcement, fashion, the hospitality industry and marine biology. I have 8 siblings, so I don’t want my parents to have to pay for college. I want to minimize my student debt so I’m trying my best even through I’m young. I want to go to a college that an become a second home. I believe in becoming the changes we want to see, and am incredibly excited to show that in my future career.

Bold Moments No-Essay Scholarship
This is me a year ago. It may look like nothing more than a girl smiling in a bee costume, but the journey to get here was so much more. Hours of grueling practice, multiple strained ankles and a year of recovery from a torn muscle in my hip that left me barely able to walk. Literal blood, sweat and tears, poured into a two-minute routine on the competition floor. We did win first place, but what was more important to me was the perseverance I had throughout my path to that dance floor. This picture is magical to me.
Austin Kramer Music-Maker Scholarship
My life has always been lived in music. I started singing with a children’s choir at the age of 5, then sang solos with a vocal coach. After sophomore year, choir didn’t entice me as much but I still listened to music as I danced. I can’t stand silence. To be honest, I wrote my first song lyrics when I was four. It was only a paragraph long, but it was surprisingly good. I’ve never been as great at composing melodies, so my songs are all acapella. But I think the wonderful thing about music is that the meaning transcends the medium. It’s magical. And with that in mind, I wrote this song, about growing up and struggling with mental health.
