I’m a curious and adventurous person who loves exploring new things, with a strong interest in different cultures and languages. I’m always eager to expand my knowledge in these areas.
As a first-generation, independent student, I’ve learned the value of hard work and determination. Despite a demanding work-study schedule, I’ve remained actively engaged in community service. This year, I graduated with my associate's and bachelor's degrees in nursing and began my career as a registered nurse. I’m excited to share my journey as a new grad while promoting mental health within the field.
Receiving scholarships would greatly support my journey as I prepare to enter a psychiatric nurse practitioner program after gaining experience in the field. It would help ease the financial burden, allowing me to focus more on my education and community involvement. I’m truly grateful to bold.org for this opportunity!
