I am an uprising sophomore at the University of Toledo. Declaring Economics as my major, I will one day become a criminal defense lawyer. My growing passion and love for this career path, is due to the fact that I am always in observation mode. I want to understand the different ways lawyers have helped people throughout their careers. I plan to make a change in this world whether it’s through my profession, or myself personally. Growing up I’ve saw others face a lot of hardships due to our justice system, and lack of resources in our community to help those in need. Reviewing court cases, and learning more in depth about different cases also plays a major role in my decision. I plan to analyze all the knowledge I can from my studies and outside research, to help me achieve my goal of becoming the best lawyer there could ever be. I am very passionate about music and success in life. I also have a love for sports! my heart will forever love the game of basketball. I also help out at a small nonprofit volleyball organization owned by family. I have started a small black owned business of making soaps, body butters and essentials made of all natural products. This has helped me gain a lot of knowledge about our skin care routines and the different products we use in our daily lives!
