Currently I'm enrolled full time in school for aviation maintenance, one technology that inspires me deeply is predictive maintenance. This advanced approach combines real-time data collection, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning to monitor aircraft systems and predict potential failures before they occur. While its roots lie in traditional maintenance practices, predictive maintenance represents a revolutionary leap in how technology can make aviation safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly, ultimately making the world a better place. By identifying issues early, airlines can perform targeted repairs during scheduled maintenance periods, avoiding unexpected breakdowns and costly delays. This proactive approach improves aircraft reliability and significantly enhances passenger safety. Beyond safety and efficiency, predictive maintenance also has a profound impact on environmental sustainability. Traditional maintenance methods often require replacing components on fixed schedules, regardless of their condition, leading to unnecessary waste. Prospering with a purpose requires a combination of attributes that align one’s actions with their goals and values. Among these, the attributes I embody most strongly are resilience and vision. Resilience enables me to navigate challenges while staying focused on what truly matters, and vision ensures I remain aligned with my purpose, driving toward meaningful success. However, my greatest area for improvement is consistency—ensuring sustained effort over time to achieve long-term objectives. Recognizing this, I have developed a plan to improve my consistency and fully embody the principles of purposeful prosperity. As a mom of 4 children one of my many goals was to never have them go through the struggle but to understand it and respect it. We have to work hard to achieve goals and Prosper. We have been devesated by 3 hurricanes in Florida and lost everything through it all my children maintained A's and B's but I myself had to withdraw from school to homeschool them during the rebuild. After experiencing that I knew that whatever happened moving forward that I was going to complete what i started and continue to show my children consistency. I re-enrolled in school when I saw a poster for The National Technical Honor Society and photo's of previous recipients I said to myself I am going to earn that. Not only did I achieve my goal and earn the honor, I have been asked to give a speech at the ceremony. Such an honor it will be and shows what consistency, resilience, and vision looks like. As a student learning Aviation Maintenance I am being inspired and instructed by those who have the same passion for the big birds in the sky. By learning how every bolt, wire, nut, rivet, and steel come together is like a work of art. Vision not only inspires me but also helps others around me to focus and stay motivated in shared pursuits. By breaking larger objectives into manageable steps, I can celebrate small victories and maintain motivation. Additionally, integrating routines into my daily life will help me stay disciplined. Seeking support from mentors and peers and regularly evaluating my own progress will ensure that I remain on track. resilience is rooted in my commitment to my purpose, as it empowers me to maintain a positive outlook and use adversity as a stepping stone toward progress. And as always nothing is done without the grace and mercy from the most high. Maintaining my morals and ethics in the midst of adversity.

I am a mom of four and currently enrolled in Charlotte Technical College for Aviation Maintenance. I recently was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society and was also given the honor of being a speaker at the ceremony. My chosen profession is being in aviation because i love how with hands on ability im able to craft and grow my.skills.I volunteer currently for the community I live in after we were devesated by Hurricane Ian and recently Hurricane Helene and Milton. Coming together as a community to rebuild has given me hope that everything is possible. I also volunteer for Girls on the run for my daughter and we completed our first 5k. The goal of GOTR is to uplift young girls and nurture them to be their best.

Hello, I am excited and honored to have the ability to apply for scholarships. I am the first in my family to go to college. I am in school for Aviation Maintenance and was recently inducted into the National Technical Honor Society and asked to give a speech during the ceremony. I am overwhelmed and excited because of the hard work it takes to get this honor. As an aspiring professional in aviation maintenance, I plan to make a positive impact on the world and my community by combining technical expertise, innovation, and a commitment to safety and sustainability. In my community, I plan to share my knowledge by mentoring young people interested in aviation. Encouraging others to explore careers in technical fields can help bridge skill gaps, spark innovation, and create opportunities for underrepresented groups. By promoting STEM education and technical training, I aim to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals. We are the change we want to see. I am currently taking business classes as well so that I can one day branch out on my own and start a business using my skills. Additionally, I want to be part of the movement toward greener aviation. Aircraft maintenance plays a crucial role in reducing carbon footprints by improving fuel efficiency, integrating renewable energy systems, and extending the lifecycle of aviation components. Contributing to innovations in sustainable aviation technology can help address the environmental challenges we face globally. I aim to uphold the highest standards of safety in aviation maintenance. Every inspection, repair, and system upgrade ensures the well-being of passengers and crew, and I take this responsibility seriously. By focusing on precision and attention to detail, I hope to foster trust and reliability within the industry. I appreciate my educators for pushing me to my goals. When I think of my contribution to my community I also think about how it will challenge my own family and friends to do more and to make a change in our community. Even though it is a challenge in itself I aim to work hard to strive and maintain my goals. I have four children the oldest being a 20 yr old young man and starting his own journey into his profession a 16 yr old young man who making a name for himself in the sports world a 10 year old little girl who just completed her first 5K for Girls on the run and a 6yr old who loves math. All are my biggest supporters in all I do they keep me centered and balanced. We go through out ups and downs together to make us stronger as a team.
