Bio

Hello I am Kevin Palomares and my life goal was to be in the military for 20 years and get out and retire. I got out after five years in order to expedite the process of getting my bachelors. Once I completed my bachelors, I had re-enlisted. My plan was that after a year, I was going to apply to become a military officer. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before I was supposed to go back in, I was changing the brakes on my wife’s car and had the car drop on one of my toes. I had to go to the hospital and have half of it removed and that put an end to my military career. I had to ask my parents for help because I had no job because I was going to be leaving in two weeks and my wife and I had a baby on the way. So, we moved to my home state and stayed at my parents. After a week of being there I was able to get into a CDL program and complete it so I could get straight to work. Since I was driving I had a lot of time to think about what I could do to put my family ahead and that was go back to school and learn to work on semi trucks in order to start my own business. Now, I can expand on my experience as a truck driver by being able to work on my equipment and in the future hire employees to drive for me. It is a lot of work but I am very motivated to pursue this career.
