As a famous bible verse states: "Do all things as if you are doing it for the Lord". About 7 years ago, I met Christ and my life took a turn for good. I've always been inclined towards the piano, and now I only serve my God with my talents. It's an honor to have my identity in God. And now I get to give my time and live my life for God's purposes. I was given a prophesy that I was going to be involved in constructing a new church on a plot of land. I am compelled to study civil engineering and move by faith towards that dream.

Those three words encompass my worldview! The majority of people strip away science from spirituality and vice versa. That brings chaos to an ignorant society. C.S. Lewis would appropriately call that "moral degradation". I strongly believe that we all get the chance to stand out as the salt of the earth, if we would only correlate scientific reasoning to a spiritual reality. Society views these two paradigms as hateful enemies that are not allowed to cross paths with one another. God forbid if science defines the heavens, or if the Bible sheds light to scientific facts.
Ever since I was in middle school, I would ponder on the elegance of mathematics and the algebraic composition of the numerical figures. Something about math was missing if I didn't associate logic with meaning. In those early years, I hungered for meaning and considered education vague without the justification of the Creator behind those numbers. I was introduced to DaVinci and Pythagoras and I admired how they used the same numbers and the same science that was taught to me in middle school, to create formulas and discover ratios of profound beauty.
In that very instance, I started a new walk towards a lifetime pursuit of finding these treasures hidden in the depths of science, math, and spirituality. Science is too broad of a term to compress all other sciences, and spiritually has a manipulative characteristic that brings foggy understanding as to what spirituality entails. My philosophy, and my long term goal, if God wills it, is to dedicate my research in academics to extract meaningful truths that can bring life, purpose, and a hopeful future to every young person, generation Z and after, that is caught up in the wave of confusion and the cultural tsunamis that dictate their future direction.
As a youth counselor in my church, I have compassion over the young people and my heart becomes agitated for their future. A secular worldview does not bring joy, nor does it breed hopefulness. It only saturates the minds of young people with a distorted, defragmented conclusion of life. If we can bring Jesus to the center stage in an auditorium of this present moment filled with atheists and scientists, New Ageists and Astrologists, astronauts and biologists, politicians and business owners, mathematicians, kings and queens, presidents and spiritualists, we would all humbly listen to these words, "I have come so that you may have life, and have it abundantly." In other words, the abundant life that Jesus offers is not only salvation, but our objective in this world to seek and find meaning that is laid before us since the very foundations of the earth.
